Growing up on Carole King’s ranch in rural Idaho, Ian Janco’s music is inspired as much by the American songwriting-tradition and widescreen landscapes of the Rocky Mountains of his childhood as it is by his travels across India and Europe.

Drawing influence from a wide spectrum of artists ranging from The Beatles to Bob Dylan to Stevie Wonder. With a voice akin to Ray Lamontagne's raw expressiveness coupled with Ben Howard's clear, cool delivery, Janco isn't afraid to cross genres.
