3rd Machine is a Dutch band consisting of five experienced musicians, all with their own
historical background in metal. Starting out in a time when styles like metalcore and djent still
had to be invented, the band gradually developed their style to what it is today: Metal with a capital M, which alternates heavy, sometimes industrial riffs with melodical interludes.

On the debut album 'Quantified Self' the distinctive style of modern metal has fully
matured. The album features 9 diverse metal songs that lyrically address the perils of the modern digital age. The album was released in april 2016 and
received some raving reviews. Common thread was the general approval of 'the wall of sound' type production, the
atmospheric use of synths, the variety of vocal styles and last but not least the virtuoso guitar solos.

‘Quantified Self’ is distributed worldwide by Soulfood and available on all major digital
networks like iTunes, Google Play and Spotify.

3rd Machine will promote this new album with an extensive tour through the Netherlands,
including special live shows featuring background visuals and guest appearances.
