From feature to solo artist, Kymberley Kennedy was propelled into the limelight following the release of her debut EP, Blackout. The self-produced record became a symbol of empowerment and would go on to secure a double synchronization deal for US movie Syrup, play-listing at BBC Radio 1Xtra, and critical acclaim from The Huffington Post.

Winner of Track of the Year at the International Breakspoll Awards and triple award winner at Yorkshire Gig Guide’s Grassroots Awards, Kennedy has performed at Glastonbury Festival, Beat-Herder Festival and recently supported Meadowlark and King No-One’s Zach Lount on their respective tours.

Together with her band, Miles Williams (guitar) and Steve Wilkinson (keys) they form a trio of musicians whose music has been described as a fusion of glacial piano lines, ethereal vocals and almost-spectral guitars, drawing comparisons to Portishead and Massive Attack.
