Amazing! This was a Jazzfest weekend at Catalina, so the Island was filled with low key Jazz lovers. After the Jazz show that Saturday night 4 of us went in search of some continued musical entertainment. We weren't having much luck, but then stumbled upon this Club that was open with a band (Evolfo) to be playing shortly. We hung around with a couple dozen others in the audience (sadly the Island filled with Jazz fans was not looking for Rock) and were rewarded with a show of a life time. None of my group had ever heard of Evolfo, but we were immediately engaged with the music and the high energy of the band members. It appeared someone associated with the band was filming/photographing and even with the small crowd, the ensueing event was out of this world! We all loved it and danced the night away. The songs were great, but just listening to the music on CDs does not do justice to what the band brings to the table in a live show to make it all come together! It was awesome and for me and my friends who were fortunate enough to be there, a show that will never be forgotten. I'm sad I missed the 2022 shows on the West Coast, but seeing this band again would be a joy and I'll keep my eyes open for another opportunity. Thanks to all in Evolfo for that show for the ages!!
