The Consumed By Vultures are a Swiss Brutal Death Metal band formed in 2013 in Ticino ( south of Switzerland), with vocalist Alex Medici and guitarist, bassist and drum programer Mattia La Delfa.
The band got it's name from a Tibetan traditional funeral rite, a celestial burial, where the skinned corpse are offered to the vultures like a final act of generosity on behalf ot the dead one.
The project it's born from a deep passion for the Metal music shared by both founders and the desire of express through the music.
The demo has been recorded within the recording studio "Optinervear Studio" in november 2013, composed of two tracks "Sky Burial" and "Natural Selection" and that has allowed to launch the project and has permitted of finding the new band members.
In January 2014 finally the band reaches the complete formation with drummer Nereo Costantini, second guitarist Timoteo Costantini, second vocalist Simone Di Cerbo and bassist Simone Waber.
From the beginning the band started to produce new tracks for the production of the Ep, learning to knowing each other as musicians and establishing a bond of friendship.
The 9th of August 2014 the band marks his first debut in Davesco (CH) as a support band of "Miasma", a well known Swiss Brutal Death Metal band.
After this first gig the Consumed By Vultures are asked to take part of others gigs in Ticino, one of these was the "Borderland Metal Fest 2" wich has seen as headliner the "Corpsefucking Art" a consolidated Italian Death Metal band.
In October 2014 the band has been recorded by Giona Spinelli within the recording studio "Brain Scan Studio" of Riva San Vitale (CH).
As already happened in the past for the creation of the ufficial logo's band, the Consumed By Vultures they rely on a very gifted Indonesian artist "Rudi Ianto" as well for the Ep artwork.
On January 31 2015 during a concert of "Heavy Demons" a well known Death Thrash Metal from Ticino, the Consumed By Vultures presented in front of the public the Ep's release "Demonstration of negative way".
The record has 6 tracks wich they have a common theme: the man's dualism.
The lyrics narrate events really happend, where the man represent the dark side of duality.
On the song "Gray Man" is quoted Albert Fish, one of the most well known serial killer in the American history.
