Ron Artis II

Otherworldly guitar skills! Great show. Engages with the crowd. Solid backup band. Love that he still plays these small venues.

Amazing

Excellence. Pure joy.

Amazing as always

What a musician with a voice to match!! Interacts with the crowd wonderfully, and his family, special!

Killer as always

It was epic! Intimate venue coupled with a genuine, warm, extremely talented guitar-playing singer-songwriter made for a memorable evening.

He is an amazing artist and seems like such a genuine person. The music was inspiring and the venue was wonderful. I got to speak to him a little and that was the cherry on an already perfect evening.

Lovely auditorium, great acoustics. Ron was solo, with acoustic guitar and hollow-body electric, played thru a Quilter amp. Barefoot as usual, tapping on and adjusting his several pedals, as he mixed echo, distortion delay, and various other effects. Played about 10 tunes, with audience Q&A (this is a music and art center) which was congenial and pleasant. Playing was tasty, mostly chill mellow, with nice dynamic range in volume, bluesy jams to light-touch on the guitar, and nice vocals to match. Maybe not as warmed up on the vocals (pitch was on, but tone a little rough at times) as he is when playing a bigger gig. Kept tunes short (3-4 min max), solos modest/minimal as he was not using any backing tracks or looping. He was having a good time and his sincere and loving vibe came thru nicely! Intimate show. OK, not the ripping show we got last summer at WhaleRock in Paso Robles, but was not expecting that either. Well done Ron! Looking forward to seeing you again.

Mahalo nui for the amazing show!!!!

Ron Artis ll and The Truth did not disappoint. He is a guitar virtuoso and has yet to be acclaimed by the mainstream. A truly talented, class act!

Ron’s best show yet. I will never forget this night! Playing piano and guitar in the same song while beautifully signing. Amazing talent!

Fantastic - especially the late set.

THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL IS THE PERFECT VENUE FOR AMAZING LIVE MUSIC. JACK JOHNSON AND RON ARTIS WAS PHENOMENAL. IT WAS THE PERFECT EVENING.

Great show full of funk & soul 🎶! Good to see that it might just pass on to the next generation 🥁!

I went to the concert to see Ron perform... so talented. I loved tower of power also, but I will always support Ron Artis! Thank you so much for coming back to Portland.. I tell everyone about Ron Artis👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
