Colour Rise について
The Facts: Colour Rise is an alternative rock band from Northwest, Ohio. The band consists of four members- Samuel Cromer (vocals, guitar), Riley Cook (guitar), Dalton Harp (drums), and Cody 'Choo' Hrynciw (bass). They fully formed as a band in August of 2014. They released their first EP 39;Oh The Places You'll Go' July of 2015, and their first full-length album, 'Primitive Skin', June 29th, 2018. In the time between releases they did a few weekend tours branching out into surrounding states of Michigan and Kentucky. They also won a Battle of the Bands in 2017 and as a result, got to open for Eddie Money the following day.
They write all original music but have covered various pop and rap songs live and even released a cover of 'Rockstar' by Post Malone. Their goal as a band is to take their passion all the way. They want to tour the world and are a driven and charismatic group.
The Art: Colour Rise's music explores themes of mental illness, nature, women, and the loved ones that effect their lives in deep ways. While most songs retain a dark, at times sad, vibe, hope is never so far out of the picture. They typically keep a dark and pretty aesthetic when writing.
The individual members come from very different backgrounds but, upon meeting and sharing their lives with each other, discovered each of them had very specific moments in their childhood that affected them for the rest of their lives.
What will the future hold for this group? The answer may be found in their latest release, Primitive Skin, on tracks like 'Nova' or the last song to be completed for the album- 'In A Sense'.
Live: Their live set is filled with loud, passionate and unfiltered energy personally described by Taking Back Sunday’s guitarist, Eddie Reyes as “generic” and you'll recognize how real it is when you see it.
