Ben Strawn

Ben Strawn, a Tennessee-raised songwriter hailing from Atlanta, GA, has established himself as an artist on the rise. With an impressive roster of opening performances for acclaimed acts like The Band Camino, Medium Build, Abby Holliday, Lighthearted and more, Strawn blends indie-folk lyricism with jazz-pop sensibilities, carried by his rich vocal tone and emotionally resonant writing.

Drawing inspiration from influential indie artists of the early 2000s, Strawn crafts music that feels like a whispered confession in a quiet room. His songs are intimate, poetic, and atmospheric — built on warm acoustic textures, ambient flourishes, and a songwriting style that recalls the early work of Iron & Wine, the vulnerability of Elliott Smith, and the emotional depth of Sufjan Stevens' Carrie & Lowell. Each song is an exercise in restraint — letting silence and space carry as much weight as melody.

Whether accompanied by a sparse acoustic guitar or ethereal piano and ambient pads, Ben Strawn channels the cinematic quiet of Leif Vollebekk and the emotional resonance of Nick Drake, José González, and even the dreamier side of Bon Iver. It’s music for late nights, long drives, and the in-between moments we rarely speak about — but always feel.
