Self-Evident plays shows across the U.S. regularly and has done tours in Europe and Japan.

Self-Evident's sound recalls at times the indie jazz of Karate and Tortoise, the melody of Sharks Keep Moving and Mogwai, the rhythmic interplay of Faraquet and Don Cabellero, and the dissonance of Shellac and Shudder To Think.
