DELIGHTFUL two sets of mainly new original tunes mixed-in with some Petty and Beatles covers. It’s great to hear Kyle Poppen’s Willie-like voice playing against Aiden’s sweet tenor and the two brothers’ blended vibe, and his solo vocal was compelling. I’m aCoffis’ originals, you can hear influences of the music they listen to, but with modal changes unlike the originals, giving Coffis music its own distinctive sound. The venue had plenty of shade, food trucks, and a grassy area for baby frolicking. KKUP FM 91.5 (Cupertino, CA) was on hand and the first band, Anthony Arya (trio, Santa Cruz) was the perfect vibe to kick off the four hours of music.
