The kids are all right. These guys put on a high energy show. Not as heavy as Rise Against but definitely more raw then a Weezer or Blink-182. I only knew a handful of songs of their latest album and some of their older stuff was just insane how the crowd reacted. Jumping, moshing, crowd surfing, etc just took me back to a 90's gig at The Bronx. I went in with curiosity and left with appreciation of what these guys can do.
Amazing show. Amazing staff couldn't ask for much more what a great venue to see a show at. All\n The staff were so helpful me being a blind guy. They really helped me out into Zach and crew you guys continue to kill it year after year. Always a pleasure seeing you play Live.
These guys are a hidden gem in Canadian music. I knew a handful of radio hits going in and left with an appreciation for a handful I had never heard before. Great crowd interactions with the whole band coming into the middle dance floor for a kitchen jig and sociable, lead guitar climbing the side banisters for some spotlight and the lead singer pulling the opener on stage for an encore group song. Lots to like about their music and their overall stage show. Would see them again, especially at a small venue like Midway.
Absolutely amazing. She’s so fun on stage and her music hits just right live! I was super bummed with myself I lost my merch on the cab ride home. But that’s no one fault but my own. Hope she comes back soon. I wanna meet and greet next time.
The Headliner - missed out on a show at Midway over a year ago and decided I wouldn't miss this one and glad I didn't. I went in knowing a handful of songs and left with a handful more. Band was tight and frontman was engaging the crowd at every opportunity. These guys will definitely be playing bigger venues next time they come through and I will see them again in a few years to support them again.
BEST SHOW EVER. The crowd! Best fans I've ever seen! Everyone looked out for each other and were so kind to everyone. We were all genuinely having the best time. And Av and Damien were AMAZING. I wish I could do that every night 😍
The band was on point, sounding as tight as ever. Milo felt the energy of the crowd and really came alive, his crowd work was something I didn't know he had in him. All of this capped off by Bill Stevenson's birthday! The band brought out a cake and we all sang happy birthday to the punk Godfather himself.
I've seen the Descendents a handful of times, and this was EASILY their best performance.
Great venue, the Buzzcocks were dynamite, and I am one happy customer.
My third Clutch show was by far the best! So much energy! All 3 bands were were on point. Inspector Cluzo and Blacktop Mojo perfectly fit the vibe of the night. Made me a fan of 2 bands I was unfamiliar with. Amazing night.
Waited 21 years for this chance, and they didn't disappoint. All I wish was a full set. A headliner. They're really accommodating. Please come back soon as a headliner. Thanks for doing the fish lips with me for a photo.🤘🖤😘
Absolutely amazing, but the sets were SO short. Erra only played 6 songs, which was too bad (3rd band, not the opener). It's out of their control. I hadn't seen them live since 2013 so I was hoping for more songs.
One of the best shows I’ve ever been to. If not the best. The stage presence they have and how much they interact with the fans is amazing. Got VIP as well so I got to meet them. They are super sweet! Please don’t sleep on them. They’re so good. Easy five stars
Great show in Edmonton, Canada. My first time seeing MW. The band appeared to be having a good time; the audience sure did! Tony Foresta is one high energy guy and was 'on' not stop all evening. Hope they come again.
First standing room concert so different for me as a concert but loved being able to dance. How wonderful to have an insider view of the personalities of the band and how intutively they worked together. Loved how interactive Jon was. You could tell his humility and desire to make everyone feel special. Warm and fuzzies with rockstar energy. A great show! Thank you Switchfoot for traveling to the Northern Wilderness to us. Ill definitely be attending again in any season 😁
I'm 40 now, and I've loved I Mother Earth since I was 14 or 15 years old. I'd always wanted to see them live, but for one reason or another, I never had the chance. Until last year, when I finally saw them play at Midway in Edmonton. To say the show was great is a huge understatement. I'm normally not a social guy. I don't like people, especially being in large groups of people, but I had the time of my f*****g life at that concert. I didn't want it to end. Hope they come back soon. These guys put on a hell of a show!
Skillet put on an incredible show. Meeting and talking with John and Corey was a huge highlight. My daughter was blessed to visit with Jen Ledger. If you every get a chance to see them live, you will never regret it. Corey even moved to stand next to me in our picture with them. Such an incredible lady. God bless the entire band. Your music helped save my husband from suicide. I cannot thank God enough for using you and your music in my families life.
Great show! Even Matthew Good seemed like he was having an uncharacteristically good time! However, tickets said doors at 7pm, we arrived at 7:50 and doors were not open. We got into the venue at 8:20pm. It appeared as though they were still trying to get organized. Many people seemed to have been waiting outside for more than an hour and doors were actually at 8pm.
If you like his music, you'll love the concert. If you love his music, you'll have a religious experience. Not only is his live performance better than the studio recordings, but he has an amazing band with him! Annnnd, he is amazing with the crowd! This was my first concert, it was an amazing experience. Even my boyfriend (who prefers punk, rock and metal) really enjoyed it.
It was a great concert. Lots of good music. I loved Cooper Alan, Thomas Mac. Brett Kissel was a good surprise!! The background music was almost too loud and you could barely hear the vocals and lyrics, especially when the full band was playing. I don’t know if that is always the case with every concert for Cooper Alan or it was just this venue.
One of the best concerts I've been to in quite a while, loved the opening acts just as much as the headliner. Wouldn't have minded a little more in the encore, but Silverstein ended on a great note! So I was quite pleased. Hope they come back soon and bring Seeyouspacecowboy with them! Midway was also a good venue for this kind of show and I look forward to catching more bands there.
So I ended up seeing Hannah live twice this year. One at Midway music hall, and the second one at Rogers place in Edmonton. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone put so much heart and effort into a live show as Hannah does. Her guitar skills are unmatched, and the vocals range is out of this world. Definitely some of the elements that make Hannah unique is the use of the talk box guitar pedal that she uses exclusively on a few songs, “Mama said” being the most obvious one. In addition, Hannah’s high level of charisma and warm vibes she puts out to her fans is something special and will make you want to come back for more. From the soft/warm bluesy notes, to the technical guitar solos/sequences, there’s something for everyone in Hannah’s growing catalogue of songs. Hannah defined the year 2022 for me, and I had some of the best experiences I’ll ever had in a long time. I’ll definitely be back for more, and would love to catch up w Hannah following the set again !
