Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom & Cervantes' Other Side
Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom is Denver’s legendary live music venue in the heart of Five Points. Since 2003, we’ve carried on the jazz-era legacy of the historic Casino Cabaret—where James Brown, Ray Charles and BB King once played. With two separate venues plus a patio stage, we host several hundred shows per year across hip-hop, rock, electronic, funk, jam, bluegrass, comedy and more. The intimate Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom features a wraparound balcony, while The Other Side is a more intimate experience including a large patio. Full bar in both venues, plus food at The Other Side. Steps from the 27th & Welton light-rail stop. Private event rentals available. Denver’s home for live music—every night of the week.

DrrtyWulvz has quickly become one of my favorite artists. After seeing him with OTT in January, I knew I had to go to this show and it did not disappoint. I also brought my girlfriend as it was her first EDM show. She had a blast. So much fun.
Winyah was AMAZING. Their guitar amazed me throughout the entire show. The sound quality at the venue was great for it being a smaller place. and the ENERGY of the crowd was fantastic, but that is what you get with a sold-out show (;
Finally saw a long time favorite artist I've been dying to see! Great staff, accomodations for handicap needs, stage crew did a great job assisting the performance! The experience felt very immersive and I'm happy the artist felt appreciated! Denver😐, Fo-Co 🙌.
We had a rollicking good time with Goodnight, Texas at the Cervantes. The boys sure do know how to get the crowd charged up. Their unique musical pastiche is always on point and they truly seem to have just as much fun playing for the crowd as the crowd does listening.
As for the venue, the Cervantes is spacious enough to hold a good size crowd and has a balcony with some stools for seating. The acoustic seemed pretty good and they have a nice stage and lighting setup.
We would see Goodnight, Texas again in a heartbeat anywhere they play, but if they came back to the Cervantes it would be a treat.
Absolutely amazing performances from every member of Haunted House. From the solo sets to the group sets it was such a great time. Cervantes has such a personal atmosphere no matter where you are in the venue you have a great view and it’s super easy to get in the front row. Great time.
First time seeing Neighbor and the opening band Cordovas. Both bands were excellent. But Neighbor was way better than I expected. The lead guitarist (new) is phenomenal. I will definitely try to see these guys again if they are in town. First time at Cervantes other side as well. Great venue to see a band.
Oppidan absolutely smashed it with a set that was nothing short of electric. Blending the deep grooves of 2-step, the rolling rhythms of 4×4 UKG, and her signature touch of heavy-hitting bass, she delivered a sonic experience that felt both nostalgic and completely fresh. Her ability to seamlessly weave between these styles created a dynamic flow that had the entire crowd moving from start to finish.
What sets Oppidan apart is not just her technical skill behind the decks, but the unique energy she brings. Every drop, every transition, felt intentional and alive — a true celebration of UK garage’s evolution. Her set wasn’t just a performance; it was a statement.
There’s something undeniably powerful about watching a female DJ completely command the room, and Oppidan did just that. She owned the stage with confidence, charisma, and creativity, turning her set into one of the most memorable performances I’ve ever witnessed.
Oppidan isn’t just one to watch — she’s a must-see. I walked in a fan of UKG. I left a lifelong fan of her.
Awesome show , looking forward to tonight’s show . This band should stick together and tour , we miss the Allman Bros Band and to see Quinn and Taz enjoy playing their songs is priceless . Would love to see this band perform at Red Rocks . Devon , Duane , Warren and Derek would be proud of this tribute.
Genuinely one of the best shows i’ve ever been to and i’ve been to a lot of shows. Nett is insanely energetic throughout his performance and the crowd was hype asf. Definitely recommend seeing him if you get the chance.
I have been doing a lot of concerts. His ability to connect with the crowd is absolutely unmatched. I believe he could be in front of 50,000 fans and still connect to the same way. Excited for his future.
Unreal - love their music, and the way music just flows through them on stage is stunning. He makes insane riffs look effortless, they bring the best energy, and I still can’t quite wrap my head around how the band knows exactly when to transition with Bombino just freestyling. It’s really amazing. Until next time 🙏🤘
The music was great but the crowd was filled with chompers having stupid conversations loudly and the show is about the music... there was also an annoying guy trying to be loud and start some sort of mosh pit while banging into people on the left side of the stage ... glad he finally went somewhere else.... Also the band took what felt like an extra long setbreak ... wish that had been shorter. Either way - great music and love the band... wish the crowd was filled with music lovers instead of annoying people who want to talk over the band.
It was the best night of my life, but I wish people were more respectful and aware of their surroundings. I had to keep moving around to have a “view” because people kept forcing themselves to get in front of me and I’m already short.
Other than that, everyday was amazing. Kiana Ledé is definitely so talented.
I went to this show to (finally) see the Funky Knuckles who did not disappoint. Outstanding instrumentalists and fun stage presence. The rhythm section. (Bass and Drums) were unreal. As a side note the frontlines MonoNeon (I’d never heard of them) were also outstanding! 😎 I will go see either of these bands when they come through town!
Glo was amazing! Her featured artists chatted with everyone in the crowd and took pictures and the show itself was crazy with lights and motion graphics and dancers. She had an awesome stage presence and chatted with the crowd, took videos with fan cameras, and offered to sign merch after the show for anybody who bought anything. Easily one of the best performers I have seen and you can tell she really loves just being on stage and doing her thing
This is the second time we have seen The White Buffalo in concert and we were not disappointed!!! Always an incredible show with a really fun atmosphere! This artist is really amazing, especially live! You can tell he is just up there having fun and bringing so much energy to the crowd! The venue was intimate which is perfect for his style of music! Bartenders and staff were awesome!
Quite possibly my favorite concert I've ever been to. Definitely the most high energy and communal. Everyone was tuned in to the frequency and I felt a deep connection with everyone in that room. Jean has incredible stage presence and a beautiful way of expressing himself emotionally; reaffirmed my belief that he is a truly special generational talent. His bandmates were amazing as well instrumentally!
literally such an amazing experience. Keshi was very caring for his fans and Rei was such a sweet soul. would definitely appreciate another concert in Denver with the both of them.
i do have a complaint about the staff though.. i had booked VIP tickets and got the email for early arrival at 2:00. i was told to arrive at 4. but by that time i was running errands and eating lunch. then when i arrived at the venue, they refused to give me my VIP merchandise.
Dude, whatever you expect, it’s better. The skill level is just wild, the ability to feel each other out and play together as a group, phenomenal. Set list was top notch.. the list goes on. Will be going to EVERY Sungazer show in Denver from here on out. The venue also had such a killer live audio, definitely going there more often.
