The Liverpool Legends were awesome! This was my 2nd time seeing them and it won’t be my last. They’re always so nice and the show is pure fun and joy. The venue was very nice and it had a cool piano open to the public that I enjoyed playing on. Thanks Liverpool Legends and come back next year!
Matt Dusk Sings Tony Bennett like no other. He travels back to the beginning of it all and takes us on a musical journey with stories to give the songs deeper meaning. His personal experiences with Tony are so heartfelt and his passion for carrying that legendary torch is truly one of a kind. Whether it's Bennett or Sinatra, he's a class act entertainer in his own right.
When a true artist can appreciate the acoustics of a theatre, turn off the mic, and belt out a tune just to try it out...that's nostalgic magic.
What a great way to celebrate a career spanning 80 years.
It was a great time! The set list had all my favorites and so many more! I can hardly say how thrilled I am they're touring again and I could actually see them. The whole group was great but the keyboard player absolutely stole the stage when he pulled out the keytar
The Albert Cummings show was wonderful. Albert showed his chops playing his music and covers. Band members Brian Quinn on bass and Warren Grant on drums mesh well with Albert’s awesome guitar playing.
The Federal Way Performing Arts Center is a great venue for music.
It was a great experience!!
Was everything I thought it was going to be and more. Sure, he’s getting up there in age. Hell, so am I and everyone else in attendance. Sure he struggled a bit to hit those high notes. But he got there and hit them. He was every bit the gentleman and was so engaging with the crowd. He shared some interesting stories and I learned a thing or two about the genesis of a few of his songs, which was worth it in itself. One of the better guitar players in the singer/songwriter genre, Mr. Hiatt picked out a few gems and added a nice harmonica accompaniment to a few other of his classics. The variety in his music and vivid lyrics kept me in tune with him all night. He really seemed to enjoy himself and appeared to even be quite thankful to still be able to sell out a theatre.
The opening act was a great set up for the evening as he added his own taste of Americana to the night. His songs, while good, all sounded quite similar but he was just as engaging as the headliner. The show opened with the PA Announcer telling concert goers they must refrain from taking photos, to wit the opener said “You guys can take as many photos with me as you want,” which brought a laugh from the crowd and set the stage for a truly wonderful evening.
My wife and i drove up from Oregon to Federal Way Washington with high expectations to see Voctave. Their performance was stunning. Each member had talent like i have never seen before. Combine this with fresh and brilliant arrangements that made familiar songs blossom, and you have an a accapella experience like none other. Thanks, Paul & Marcia
Alright. There is only one person that can make the ukelele sing and sound like a whole band, and that's Jake. Unbelievable riffs and compositions! And his demeanor is so low-key, polite and genuine. Just as you would expect a local boy from Hawai'i to be! No ka 'oi!!
TTWS were amazing as always! I will never get tired of seeing them. I hope they will come back to western Washington soon! One of their concerts is like a soul refresher! I highly recommend, they never disappoint! Love Dean, Glenn & Todd! I am a Toadie for life! (Shout out out to Dante, you are awesome!) PS: their entire crew are incredible humans!
These guys!!! Still rocking it good, baby!! Amazing talent all around! So happy to have finally after over 30 years seen them live!! And what a show it was!! The meet and greet was warm and fun! I cant wait for new stuff and to see them EVERY YEAR THEY TOUR FROM HERE ON OUT! I really want to see IN MY EAR and CHILE!! This venue was pretty great as well! THANK YOU TOAD!!!
They sound amazing! I do wish they would've played a few more songs and also eliminated the political chatter. Keifer is funny and I really liked the backstories they told on the songs.
