This concert was a Christmas gift to my wife. She fell in love with Samara Joy's music and it was a no brainer to purchase tickets for her show, during the Christmas holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed the concert. My wife especially. It was a magnificent experience and the performance was flawless. And to meet her after the concert and fellowship with her briefly, was the icing on the cake. Thank you Ms. Samara Joy for a fantastic concert and Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Band was in the pocket all show. The new music is like a warm blanket. The old stuff is like seeing a best friend you haven’t seen in years. Natalie… I can’t list enough superlatives to qualify or quantify how good her voice is.

Black Violin concerts never disappoint! Very entertaining and something I wish I could go to more this once a year! Great job as always guys! Looking forward to your return to Philly. We’ll be in the front row as always.

It was incredible! The supporting DJ, drummer and keyboardist were just as amazing as Marcus and Baptiste!

David - I’ve seen Pat Matheny perform 40 or 50 times since the beginning of his career, as he has come to Philadelphia many times. I had the exact impression of the mix as you did, and I was sitting at about the middle of the floor. I didn’t notice Antonio’s brushes being excessively prominent, but I really had difficulty hearing the piano and bass. The entire show was old music with one possible exception, and this disappointed me because Metheny has stated that he has five albums worth of material fully recorded and ready for release when he figures out how he’s going to do that. It would’ve been nice to hear some new material. That aside, he always puts on a great show and I enjoyed it.

Absolutely brilliant! Pat was awesome and the other musicians were equally great. It was an evening filled with familiar compositions with new interpretations that did not disappoint!

He is a phenomenon! He played nonstop for 2hrs45 min on 3 different guitars. I’d like to see him again.
