What an awesome experience it was for me to finally see Gino Vannelli in concert. I have been wanting to see him on my bucket list since the 70s. I finally was able to see him, and he sounded even better that he sounded years ago on his records and cd's. He was very friendly and kept the audience captivated by his soft, smooth, powerful voice. It is an experience that I will NEVER forget. If you get a chance to see Gino Vannelli in concert, get your ticket before the concert is sold out. You will regret it if you miss him. Thank you, Gino Vannelli, for making my wish and dreams come true!
A great show from Dave Mason and his band last evening. They performed a great selection of Traffic tunes, which included Dear Mr. Fantasy, the Low Spark of High Heeled Boys, Pearly Queen, Medicated Goo, Rock n Roll Stew, and Feelin’ Alright. Guitar player Johnne Sambataro did a brilliant version of Blind Faith’s Can’t Find My Way Home. I enjoyed hearing keyboard player Mark Stein, from The Vanilla Fudge, sing You Keep Me Hangin’ On. I will be seeing him again with the Vanilla Fudge in April. Dave Mason’s voice is better than ever. All in all, a wonderful night of great music.
It was a fabulous concert. He was very animated He voice was as wonderful as it ever was. The set list was new and full of energy! Loved the night! Can’t wait to see him again. We came from Boston a second year because of the venue. It’s so lovely and intimate.🩷🩷🩷
Great concert. Gino’s voice has depth and precision . Every note /word is so accurate and
soulful. Beautiful delivery, and a truly great showman. He loves performing and connects with his audience.
The band is so tight and enjoying every moment on stage. Each member blend their style so well.
I haven’t listened to a band that encompasses such talent and instrumental ability. Fantastic.
Yesterday we had a fantastic time in the Parker Playhouse at Al Di Meola's concert in Fort Lauderdale. It was a world-class performance! He always was one of my favorite jazz guitar players but yesterday I rediscovered him. Looking at Al Di Meola and his performance it is hard to believe that this man is already 70.
One word: Unbelievable! I have seen dozens of Beatle cover bands and these guys are the best. Lennon guy is Lennon…close your eyes and you are at a Beatles concert. Note for note, word for word, drumbeat to drumbeat…it is the Beatles. If you are a Beatles fan (or if you are not) you will NOT be disappointed…if fact you will be blown away. Hopefully Fab Four performances will give future generations an opportunity to appreciate a once in a lifetime band that changed the face of music forever. Well done boys!
Was able to do the meet and greet with Blue October at this performance and the band was fantastic. I'm physically disabled and was feeling rushed to get out of the way by the next group waiting to meet the band. They stepped in and let me take my time and were very gracious with their time. My wife getting a hug from Justin was just the icing on the cake! Highly suggest you do this if it is available.
We met Veers (opening act) at the after-concert merch section; they were incredibly nice and accommodating. They signed their poster for us and took pictures with my wife.
This is my second time seeing them. Toad was great as usual. Todd threw me his pick! The verve pipe was surprisingly good. Incredibly friendly people, i met them all and they even signed the setlist i got from them. Spent wayyy too much on this and it was worth every penny.
As expected Daughtry and his band were amazing. I loved the feel of this concert. It felt more personal, besides the set up, it had a lot to do with the venue. More private feeling, as if he was in your living room singing to you, or a family affair. Music was exceptional and his vocals were no less! Absolutely LOVED it.
Loved It !! Southside is 74 right now , will be 75 in december !! I hope not, but I think that might be the last time I will see him !! I believe I have seen him about 4 times in my life ! 1 last night ft. lauderdale and 3 times on Long Island , N.Y. !! Go Southside !!
I love Ryan, but WTF. Anyone who was there will understand. You literally had to be there to see or really not see it. Stage was basically blacked out. If I wanted to just hear a concert I could listen to the radio. Come on Ryan, stop the selfishness.
Djavan is an amazing singer, he gave it all to delivery a great concert even though he had a strong cold and was basically voiceless. He did his best, extremely politely, respectful with his audience and years and years fans, since he is famous for more than 40 years in Brazil with many top hits.
the only problem was his production. during his 3 first performances, the sound coming of the stage had the band extremely higher than Djavan's voice. We could not even understanding a single word he was singing, after that I asked to a lady, Helena, very politely employee from the theater, how to address this problem, and I saw the system table of the stage control on the last row up at the theater. The first guy who talked to me came saying "I just speak English", as if i wasnt speaking english with him, and a lady, introduced herself as a producer came to talk to me. She was very defensive when i asked her if it could be possible to make Djavan's voice higher than the band because we all at the same row, back row and front row could not understanding a word. She first mentioned, "nobody is complaining besides me", so i asked her as a producer to check with me she wants me representing everybody or requesting we all to go talk to her during the show?, she so decided to say that Djavan was sick, basically voiceless, but in anytime he was going to explain that he decided to do the concert than canceled in respect to his fans. I said to her, this is completely fine with us, but bc of that she just gave another reason to lower the band instruments, because it was very annoying not be able to listen to him and his efforts could be better used by the sound controlers. So, she said to me to go back to my place, that nothing could be done, he was sick, the show a night before was better and i should had go yesterday and made a terrible comment, "maybe you need a hearing device". Manager of the theater came to apologize her behavior offering seats in the 1st row with I declined.
I’ve never been to a Mavericks concert that has been anything less than stupendous! Although I have seen them at other venues, there’s just something really special about the Parker. I will go see them there again and again, and I will see them anywhere else. I can manage to! Experiencing them in concert just makes me very happy. Last night they played some songs that I would consider to be some of their oldies, and I was surprised, and delighted to hear them! Such a great evening! Thank you, Mavericks, for lifting my spirits!
This group was absolutely fantastic. The harmonies are perfect and they love what they are doing. I have seen them many times in the past and they were as good if not better. I still miss Tim Hauser, but this quartet really knows how to sing. I was also ecstatic that they did some of my favorites, such as “Trickle Trickle”, “That Cat is High” and “Operator”
Justin and the band were amazing as usual ! I will never stop going to their tours as long as they keep touring!! The theater was intimate and beautiful. Only downfall was the lighting on stage gave them a silhouette look most of the time and I would have liked to see them more clearly 😉
Sounded great . Played for almost 3 hours . Would like to have seen and heard more songs from new release like Sailing the Seas of Ganymede or Through a Mothers Day Darkly . Not sure of the technical aspects to play these live but would have been great . Other than wanting the set list to have a higher number of current releases , as I’ve seen Joe a few times he was great as usual . Top of my list . Wouldn’t let me choose higher than 4 1/2 stars . Joe = 5 stars .
My 19 and 17 year olds have grown up listening to Joe and it was there first time seeing him and they were blown away . Generational Joe .
I've been attending Richard's shows for a little over 30 years. He is always amazing and I love his audience interaction and entertaining stories.
He is just an overall fabulous artist and I will be a forever fan and one of the 3 people who purchased the "Limitless CD" ( lol...last night's concert joke)!
Till the next show........I'll be right here waiting
It was a wonderful show with very talented guest artists. Chris was in top form. I’m such a big fan, I’m going to see him again tonight. I see him every year he comes to Florida. If you want to see an excellent enjoyable show with fabulous guest artists and one of the greatest musicians in the world, I highly recommend this one.
It was fabulous. Our friend, Country Don, came down from central Florida where he lives to attend this show with us. He knew the Mavericks in Miami, where they got their start and before they became well known. There was an added good feel moment. Don bought a
t-shirt and CD and left the package under his seat and no one realized it until we were home
(Lake Worth). So Friday morning early he started calling the Playhouse leaving a message each time. A little later in the afternoon a gentleman by the name of Ricardo called with the good news that he had Don's package. Kudos to the Playhouse and their host of honest employees. In today's world we did not think the package would be back in Don's hands.
THANK YOU FOR A FABULOUS SHOW, CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE.
Mr. Crosby has not lost a beat! His voice is as strong as ever! He has a most talented band! The playlist, full of gems from the past doesn’t hurt! Even, The Byrd’s “8 Miles High” sounded great as did, “Wooden Ships”, “Deja Vu”, “Almost Cut My Hair” & “Long Time Gone”! This’ a show worth catching!
