if i got hit by train right now, id be able to die happy knowing i got to see p1harmony live. intak’s solo stage had me keeled over, clutching my heart and thanking every choice i’ve ever made that allowed me to see that in person. every single one of their solos were so incredible and together they were so mind blowing that it brought me to tears. my princess pookie pops COOKED, SERVED, and ATE
Phenomenal show. Loved how they rotated the three bands throughout the show. Maynard is still performing at a high level and fun watch perform. The three band weee so tight. Primus fit in with A Perfect Circle and Pucifer. Almost played for three hours
Like a fine wine (so I hear). Casting Crowns has improved with age over the past 20 years. Amazing show. Great mix of history and worship all for the glory of our Savior Jesus Christ. Only thing I would have changed was the lighting. Everyone but Mark and Megan were mostly in the dark the whole time. Otherwise, incredible. Hats off to the orchestra, crew and all the band members.
This was like a religious experience it was so captivating. If a show like this doesn't turn your memories upside down and shakes them around, then your memories must all be settled. Tears of joy were running all over the place. Hope was in the air, and yet it was oh so personal; even in such a packed room.
Kudos to Boston fans for being so cool and giving the stage the quiet they deserved to perform each piece.
These guys gave such an amazing show. I am hoping that they will tour again and come to the Boch Center next year. They are all legends and dedicated performers to their fans
The fellas looked well, rested, & were having fun. It was good to see them. They were looking haggard the last few shows.
The Wang Theater is great. Mini camera drone flying inside the theater was a little distracting, but fun. It looked like a lost bat (vampire, maybe?).
Some venue staff were curt & rude. I know life frustrations can creep into our jobs. I hope the staff didn't dampen anyone else's experience.
I would go there again, but would try to dress like I had money just to be treated better.
Great show. November 14, 1978. Was the original Grateful Dead show. Surprised at the number of empty seats last night and the number of fans in town for the Dead & Co. that had no idea that the show was even happening. Someone dropped the ball on that.
It was Seal so of course it was awesome but seemed like he was singing the songs without much enthusiasm. My sister and her drove to New Jersey last time to see him. He sang his heart out for 2 hours with just a drummer and guitarist. They played like mad men on fire. Naturally, I love Seal but it was hard to enjoy with everyone standing up through the entire show. I could have stayed home & listened to him sing on my TV without the hassle of coming into Boston.
Seal’s still got it! Saw him perform at Harbor Lights in Boston in 1995 and loved him then! He has a truly amazing soulful voice and hits all those notes. If you liked his first 2 albums, you will love this 2023 World Tour. He came down into the audience to chat and sang from there too. I could listen to him talk or sing all day. 2 hours including an encore. I didn’t want it to end! Boch is a good venue too.
Taylor was amazing! I've long been a fan of her work and she was fantastic as always last night. Venue was great as well; would happily return! Only downside was the front row mezzanine seats I bought were an obstructed view - the railing in the front is solid wood and I had to spend the show leaning forward to see. Just something to take into account when going to a show here.
What an amazing concert An amazing worship service, actually! Nothing like I've ever experienced before. I am so glad TobyMac came to Boston and led the body of Christ in singing praises to our Awesome God. His whole concert is conducted with humility, grace, love, and a lot of fun! I was humbled for Toby to share his personal pain and grief and dark walk with the Lord, and rejoiced with how God never let (and won't ever let!) Toby walk away from Him, because it is CHRIST who is holding onto him! Toby is secure in Christ, and he shared that with us and encouraged and exhorted us in the Lord and towards the Lord. Beautiful, beautiful experience like I've never had before.
Thank you, Wang Theatre, for hosting TobyMac! Thank you, TobyMac, for coming to Boston! Please keep coming to New England! We need your godly musical encouragement because "We've come a long way, We got a long way to go (Yeah)!" We are all running this Race together!
Sounded great killer setlist. Getting half a canyon and give it a day in the same show felt like winning the pavement lottery this whole tour has been top shelf fine aged pavement
I am one of the foolish fans that have waited until 2022 to see a Pavement show. The band did not disappoint and in fact exceeded my highest expectations. SM was having issues with the stage sound but still played and sang an amazing set! The whole band seemed to enjoy themselves and so did I. Give It A Day was my favorite! Thank you. Stay well everyone and please play here again!
The Wang Theater was also wonderful. Admission was fast and easy. The merch line, despite winding around the corner and down the stairs, moved quickly and I had a poster in less than ten minutes. Staff was easy to find and helpful, but not overbearing in any way. The balcony bathrooms were clean and big enough for the number of seats. After the show, the staff opens the side doors which makes exiting quick.
AMAZING EXPERIENCE! From Jonśi’s beautiful and organic voice. To the light but stimulating tremble of the bass and drums with the vibrations of Jonśi bow stroke. Talk about hitting all the sensations at the same time. At times I just closed my eyes and let the music take over. The stage lights and effects were a visual pleasure, every presentation matched the song and the vibe. And, my boys were working hard! The passion was deep and enigmatic. Money well spent and I can’t wait for them to return!
Hozier is an artist that you NEED to see live. His music sounds better live and his band is phenomenal as well. This was my second time seeing him and I’d see him every time he comes to Boston.
We are 2 of the lucky only 20 or so thousand folks that will get to see this fantastic show. Any time Ry Cooder is involved you can bet it will be top shelf and it was.
He had such a great stage prescense. He told some great jokes and stories. The two acts before him were very good as well. His vocals are a hundred times better in person. And boy could he move! I remember how amazed and immersed by the music and the dancing and Ben Platt's voice I was when it he and the band and backup started playing and singing Share Your Adress.
This was an incredible concert! As a consequence of investing in a concert where the artist/band has been around for 29 years with multiple albums, there were many songs I would have preferred as opposed some of the songs performed on the set list. Nonetheless, they are incredibly talented performers backed with a mesmerizing light show. I would definitely pay to see these guys again, even if I do have to wait 8 hours in line to receive tickets.
Boy George still has an incredible voice. Culture Club was tons of fun. I hope they come around again but with meet and greet tickets available next time. I’d love to meet the person who had a profound influence on my teen years. Meanwhile, I will seek out some of the new music that they played. It was just as good as their old music that we all know and love. I’m grateful to Boy George for singing Karma Chameleon, which he must be tired of singing after all these years, but us fans still adore it. If you get the opportunity, definitely go see them.
