Fantastic show! Reunion performance, as part tribute to bassist Henri Sanalang (who passed away last year), and in celebration of the re-release of their 1st album, Where The Change Is. The band was in top form, with Chris Murphy of SLOAN filling in for their dearly missed member, delivering all their great songs to a very appreciative mixed-age audience, most of which were singing along & shouting back in joyous unison. Highlights included Gavin (in his best Ron Swanson get-up) cavorting about the stage & destroying multiple tambourines with his shenanigans, and the crowd-wide audience chant of the band's name for a swift & incendiary encore. Fun performance. (The opening band Absolute Losers, from PEI, were incredible, as well!)

Would have preferred a mix of more recent material plus older. Set was too short. Wasn't thrilled with their keyboardist. His antics and constantly knocking over the drum beside him was a distraction. Bill, Rhys and their drummer were all great however. The percussion was the highlight. Bill still has a ton of energy. And I did love hearing a Cyberaktif track to close the show.

I flew to Toronto to specifically watch her in concert, and she exceeded my wildest expectations. She is spectacular. I cannot wait for the new album and I really hope she’s going to tour in U.S.

Julianna & her band rocked their asses off! My 1st time seeing her perform live & it was not at all what I was expecting — she came out in glam make-up, red latex hotpants, croptop & tassled wristcuffs — and then they proceeded to blow the crowd away with a blistering, full-on rock 'n roll show! And JR is one of the MOST powerful vocalists I've ever heard live! Every tune was perfection, but her cover of "Let Me Roll It" (Wings) literally gave me goosebumps. Astounding concert experience.

Incredible. I just wanted them to play all night. Jace and Olga sounded on f*****g point. And was just a great gig to witness. Unfortunately, likely due to Cindy Lee performing a few miles away, as it seems she might've siphoned off the regular hipster types that would normally see The Besnard Lakes live ( tbf, I am NOT a Hipster, just super cool). As Lee's was sparse, it made me and my best friend concerned for the future of live music and new Bands in the future. A legendary Canadian ( Montreal) Band with maybe 75-90 patrons at a their show??? In their home Country? it was nice in a way, hear me out, as it was intimate and we were able to get up close, and as two 48 yr -olds with Stamina issues, we shimmed ourselves up to an opening for a railing to lean on; a railing with a spot for you to put down my tasty beverage down while I filmed and took photo's. But the I had a 12mg Zyn in my mouth along side 6 beer, 3 that was ex post facto, 40mg of Edibles + Three hails off of a a saaaaweeet Tribal THC Vape. The strong nicotine basically holding me upright along side the railing for the gig. Anyways. Underrated. Should of been more people, but Bands and artists just are not making much $, with the destruction of regular social behaviors due to COVID and it's reckless lockdown that influenced many who used to always go out on the town, and now, avoid any social gathering, other than drinking by themselves. And I fear we won't have much up and coming bands/artists; and live music will be shite. The band GEESE are refreshing and hope to prove me wrong, but I just think they are an exception to the rule. Incredible! The most high-energy show I've ever attended. Durry — especially Austin — gave 110% for the entire performance, and the audience sang along with them all the way through. Dancing, and arms in the air. There was even a small, fun mosh pit that broke out a few times. This band is grateful to be playing live music for their fans and it shows. An absolute joy to hear in concert.

Dry Cleaning are one of my favourite bands and I'm so glad to have had the chance to see them play live. I wish their set had been twice as long. It was over too soon for me.

Awesome performance from Castle Rat !! They have expanded their Realm with the new album and the set was full of new material and the familiar classics. New stage show performance has taken a great forward step with more theatrics and band interaction. Killer solos, great sound and as always they are fantastic to meet & greet after the show for photos and autographs ! NOW IS FOREVER !!

I have loved Mest for my entire adult life. Although I missed seeing all the original members, the set was as incredible as it was in 2003 Warped tour or when they toured with Good Charlotte! Tony still brings the same stage energy and genuine gratitude. I loved every minute of the show.

Hands down one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen! One for the books. I will never forget it! Langhorne got down from the stage and sang the second half of the show standing on a wobbly fold out chair on the floor with the crowd around him - interacting with the crowd and just making it an extremely intimate and memorable night. He is one of the most talented artists I’ve had the pleasure of seeing live! Thanks so much, Langhorne. You did not disappoint, yet again!!!

I've seen a lot of shows but hyperbole aside, this was one of the best live music experiences of my entire life, and I'm in my mid Forties. With my ears assaulted to where, 24 hours later, I feel I sound like a cartoon character when I talk. APTBS. But with their reputation, and then delivering on "the loudest bands ever" quote with clean accuracy and a good job sticker from me, My Holy F*****g God!!!. With an interlude that was just waves of feedback, guitars being thrown at the ceiling, then inevitable broken guitars, at one point Oliver was using a guitar with the whole bottom completely gone below the Strings/Fret and played the f*****g thing! I might add too that Lee's Palace had one of the most hip, visually, crowds I've been around. APTBS was intense, brutal and penetrating to the core. - Benway

The bands all killed it and were full of energy but the crowd was kind of small and relatively dead which surprised me a bit. Origin's guitars were super low which was disappointing as they are who I went to see.

I went to see them for a friend's birthday and we all went without knowing who Klangphonics were. We were BLOWN AWAY! Close to 2 hours of non-stop of electronic dance with live instruments on stage! I've never seen a show like their's before and I can't wait to go to another one of their shows one day.

Besides it being so so so hot inside Lee’s Palace it was an amazing night. I was located at the main bar in the back where you first walk into the bar and u fortunately couldn’t see the stage. If the stage was a couple feet taller., I’d think there wouldn’t be a bad seat in the house that couldn’t see the stage if it could be elevated The guys that were bartending were awesome, quick and pleasant! I loved the concert and the small bar scene again I had an awesome night.

A very powerful and punishing (but in the best way possible!) performance given by the force that is The Ocean. They were extraordinary and the show is one of the very best I've seen in my life. Definitely one of the loudest shows I've been to as well. Lots of great audience interaction and an amazing set list. Just loved it. 🖤🖤

I didn't attend this show but the one in OLG Concert Hall at Niagara Falls on October 4. 2023. It was awesome! Would go again to see them. Lee's Palace was sold out in 2 days so had to drive to Niagara from Toronto. It was worth every penny!

One of the best concerts I've ever seen and I'm 64 and seen everyone-beautiful heavy loud sonic pyschedelic hard rock ecstasy cast good vibe spell over whole room-sounded absoutely amazing!-a real visual trip, too!

Loved everything about it. The two Opening acts, the venue, the supportive and energetic crowd, Yvette’s dress, new band members, the new songs..,oh my God, the saxophone. This concert was a dream. I can Finally die in peace.

The venue was c**p to be honest. For such a talented artist I felt like the venue wasn't a good fit. I loved his music and the performance but I can't deny that the venue really put a damper on it, cash only coat check, so lots of people were sweating in their jackets, bad audio, felt like the sound did not fill the room at all and I was standing 3m from the stage. If wax tailor comes to Toronto I'll still go again, but hopefully it's not at lee's palace.

It was a great evening with Dahm, Tamaki, Taka and Yoda. Am looking forward to 20 more years of new great music memories and emotions. For those lucky enough to see Mono, they will understand.
