Excellent show and a nice venue.
This was the 5th time I had seen Zhu and easily the most impressive show to date. Seeing him play with a full band is the only way to totally appreciate his talents. The unique stage setup being able to see the band through the LED screens was very cool.
If you're way in to Wilco you probably would had a better time. The first hour was boring...Lots of new and slowwww songs with no energy and they over play solos and musical chaos at the end of too many songs (Wilco signature). The last 45 minutes was much more fun. They only played 2/5 favorite songs which was a bummer. I'm a casual fan but the true Wilco fans will likely have a better review.
even though i didnt go to the concert i know that it was great and girl i am a big fan since boo'd up came out and i wish i could have went because i know all the words to all your songs and thanks for being an amazing r&b singer love you girl
Lit af!! Bigxthaplug really put on a show and he even got my phone to record himself 😭🫶🏽 it’s was a concert I will never forget. Kenny muney threw that blue money LIT. Jay fizzle was rapping fast af and he hit that hoo LIT. Tia was lit af overall. Big x started to do his little dances dance LIT. And key glock fine ahhh was purrfectt. Only complaint I have is the pushing and shoving but that’s normal for these concerts, overall LITTTT
Alter Bridge is phenomenal...they always bring their "A" game to the stage and this was no different. The music and show was tight, well paced, and flawlessly performed, while still remaining very personal and real. I've seen Mammoth WVH several times, and not only are they all fantastic musicians, but (like Alter Bridge) you never forget that these are people who genuinely LOVE to share their music. Totally memorable and so glad I was there.
They are absolutely worth the price of admission. In my Top 5 shows that I have been to.
August Burns Red is one of those bands that sounds even better live. Insane vocals and those breakdowns slappppp!!!
Bleeds From Within is also worth seeing. They are 🔥 live. They need to remaster their songs on Spotify cause they sound so much better live imo.
Do not hesitate. Get your tix. They both are a must-see this tour.
Devil Wears Prada was good, but Bleeds From Within and August Burns Red were just way more 'wow' factor to me.
It was my very first concert with them! I almost didn’t go until I saw that Freddie Dredd was in the lineup. Seeing all three of them that night was amazing!! It made me incredibly happy hearing all the music live and watching them perform.
Only thing I’m sad about was missing the first half of Help Herself because I had to really use the restroom. I was washing my hands and talking to another girl in the bathroom when I heard the opening of the song. I ran out of that bathroom so fast!!
From each artist, I was hoping to hear certain songs from them, and they all played it! It was overall an amazing time, and I’m glad that I went!
Being able to see Lonesome Crowded West performed in it's entirety was already a once in a lifetime experience all on it's own but never in all my days would I have thought I'd be able to say I'd see them play Edit the Sad Parts live. Was my first concert since the pandemic but knew it was a show I couldn't miss. I had an incredible time and even as an introvert with some serious social anxieties I got to meet a few wonderful people and had a hell of a time.
Loved it! First time seeing Modest Mouse. I’m a huge fan of the old stuff, so this was right in my wheel house. They played the full 2nd album in order and threw in a Flaming Lips cover and 3 older songs from Singles and EP’s for an encore. Hadn’t been to the South Side Ballroom before so didn’t know what to expect. It was a really big (deep) venue with a lot of standing room. Sound was great, and they had a good set up for bathrooms, bars, merch…The parking kinda sucked…took at least :45 minutes to get out of the parking lot after the show, but it wasn’t the worst I’ve encountered. Good times.
Show was great. Well what I got to stay for. I had to leave early because I felt unsafe at South Side. The room was beyond packed to the brim. There was no room to move or breathe. Staff did not care at all. South Side has gotten 100x worse since concerts started back up, it used to be my favorite venue but now I’m starting to second guess going to anymore shows at South Side.
The actual show was fantastic, good energy, strong stage performance. Unfortunately we missed Atreyu so can’t comment on that but I bet it was just as good. The venue could have been better, staff was disappointing and we were packed in there like sardines tripping over each other and things on the floor. Several people had to be escorted out due to being too inebriated. Overall good experience though, definitely worth paying the extra money to get seated tickets.
Best show I’ve been to in a while. Cattle Decapitation, Obituary, and Carcass all destroyed but Amon Amarth put in the most high energy and entertaining show I’ve seen in years. The crowd was amazing. If I could see them all again like that I’d do it every time.
It was a great show, made me feel like a viking🤘🏼😃😅 . I got to the venue late because of Dallas traffic and parking lot was full.. ended up missing Cattle Decapitation and the band I really wanted to see, OBITUARY. It was my fault tho 5 star concert
Going to see them in concert is the most great thing I think that has happened in a while. They sounded great they put on a awesome performance and they really interacted with the crowd on a nice level. They played with some good bands and everything seems to flow really nice
Cherry Bombs were entertaining. Who doesn't like hot girls in sexy outfits dancing to rock/metal? I did not enjoy Sleep Token. I think I was in the minority based on crowd reaction. They were talented, but IMO their style just didn't fit this lineup. Nothing More was f'ing phenomenal! This was my first time to see them, hope it's not the last. In This Moment.... What can I say that probably hasn't been said. Maria and crew always put on a great show. Last night was no different.
From vip to end of show, my boys tear it up! Jonnys energy goes unmatched in any other band I have seen! Ben destroys his drums and keeps it all flowing smoothly. Mark is the most down to earth and just fun to watch on stage, and Daniel always slaps an insane bass! This was my first VIP and only my second show. The guys just continue to climb and grow!! Can I give then more than 5 stars? HELL YESS. at least 28/10
I loved the vibe of the entire show. Most of his pre show performers I didn’t know, but the music was recognizable. Most because of TikTok. I’ve been listening to Amine since before Caroline got popular. I loved all the songs he performed. The set on stage was interesting but awesome. Especially the big stand of his dog, Oliver. The show was lit, the audience was even more lit, and the show was great.
Her show was amazing! Rezz did everything right! As for the South Side Ballroom venue, they are the meanest ravers I’ve ever met. I won’t go into detail, but they are petty and instigative. Likely won’t return to that venue because I never faced such problems in San Marcos, Austin, or LAN.
Thus was the most amazing show of the year by far. First show ever. I am definitely never missing them ever. New fave band. So much energy in the concert. I have no idea how they can keep doing that over the course of an entire tour.
Team Brian!
Papa Roach always kills it!! Unfortunately I didn't get the net n great this time with them, but we did win meet n great with Bad Wolves who did not disappoint. Not a huge fan of Asking Alexandria, but they had a good show as well. Nobody is better than Papa Roach live!
