Fantastic. The guys are amazing artists, who are super talented and very personable (brutal). We love what they stand for. We love their vibe and positive, humble attitudes. They are old school, hard core, true punk!
Great venue, with friendly bar staff.
APFO absolutely crushed it, and VEAUX is one of my new favorite bands. As for Mae, every single song they played had their best energy and Dave told us the story of D:B and what it meant to him and the band. The venue, though a tad small, had amazing atmosphere, and the sound was balanced immaculately for all three bands. I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the best local concert I have ever been to. Cheers to Mae and happy birthday D:B and Dave!!!
THIS BAND IS GREAT. I love the music, I love the feel of the show. the conga line I could do without because I have trauma about being touched.
It resonates with me that I feel like the music doesn't exclude me. and that i don't have to feel conflicted with being a fan because I don't have to be a certain kind of person to enjoy the music as a fan.
Such a fun concert in a perfect venue! It was like a big dance party with everyone singing along. One of the happiest crowds I’ve ever encountered at a concert. David gave hugs, signed autographs, and posed for pics after the show. My teenage son and I had a blast. Also want to note that this was my first concert at The Marquis, and I loved it: pizza for the kid, a cocktail for me. Not too big, so it felt intimate. People were super nice.
AMAZING they were so nice and they even gave me and my friends each (there was 3 of us) drumsticks!!! It was an amazing first emo/punk concert for my friend!!! And they even signed the sticks and a shirt for myself!!!!
Yallllll
My bestie bought me the best birthday presssie ever!
Not only did we drive from Fl to Denver to see her play but she also got me the m&g
The performance was like magic! The best therapy I’ve ever received in my life!
She is also the sweetest fucking person I ever met!
So buy the damn tickets! You won’t regret it!
Love, Swirly Twirly 🖤
The show was great! The staff was polite and accommodating.
There were SO MANY PEOPLE TALKING it was obnoxious. To the point that the lead member of the band made a joke about why people choose to talk during instrumental music.
We moved around the venue a couple times to avoid them, didn't make a difference, there were several couples oblivious to the performance.
i had a great time, all the sets were super fun and as an audience we were encouraged to interact with the artists (mostly off stage, talk to them before and after their sets) which was super cool. super fun experience, i will def be looking for shows by the artists i saw. :)
Orthodox is the best band ever, fuck ticket master, and fuck this app for making me tax. Isn’t even going to the band, got to hellllllllllllll and get butt fucked by a big dick demon you cucked pieces of shit.
The Marquis is a tiny Venue. It fits about 300 people. And because of it's size, it allows for a very intimate experience with the band. I always have a good time at the marquis.
I went to this show to experience the headliner Eidola. Those guys know how to shred. They played some of their older songs that I wasn't familiar with which was pretty neat. But their newest album entitled The Architect is a total banger. I loved seeing these guys for the first time.
The next band on the lineup was Rain City Drive. I had no idea that the band was formerly known as Slaves. So inherently, I liked there sound. Such a good time.
Royal Coda is a post hardcore outfit fronted by Kurt Travis. I was able to meet with Kurt at the merch booth and we talked about life and death and the meaning of it all. It was a pleasure to meet him.
The opening band on the list was Body Thief. These guys really had my attention. They are similar to Anthony Green. The vocalist was on point. The guitar parts were really well done. And a lot of the timing for the drummer made their songs really interesting.
These bands put in an incredible amount of work to create their sound.
This show was spectacular. The two openers that were with them were also out of this world. The energy that they all carried, the friendliness, and the overall crowd was awesome. Arrows in Action sounded exactly the same as they do on the recordings, which is even more awesome. I was lucky enough to be up in the front and also happened to be at their biggest show. They even allowed all of us fans to meet them all. They were so friendly and kind. I will definitely be going back to see them!
The band put everything into this. Their performance was the most filun I've had at a show this year, and I've easily seen 40 bands on 2022. Joe Letz as 'Blow-Up Betty' on drums was simultaneously chilling and incredibly entertaining.
I recorded the whole show here

I have never seen a crowd more into a band. The floor was 80% pit 80% of the time. People were shouting lyrics they didn't understand but knew at the top of their lungs. The band is amazing, but after all the concerts I've been to, the crowd blew my mind. I will be at every Bloodywood show I can make.
This was one of the best shows of the year. Everyone came out bringing their shredding best. From System Restore’s opening song to Authority Zero’s closer this was non-stop punk rocking at it’s absolute best! I had a great time and I thank every band for being so rad!
Them foos were sick foo! I was hella high at the event. Glad to see them headline a tour crazy to think that I saw them open for light up the sky few years back and see them grow a bigger fan base 🔥
The drummer was waaaay bad. I had to leave early. It sucks man, I get it. I remember seeing you in Denver a few years ago at that place on Colfax Ave. Killed it.
Excellent show! This is our second year and we will go again next year if they come back to Denver. We also liked the Blacklite District and would have bought a CD if they had had any left.
Have seen hundreds of bands in 30 some years of concert going and Combichrist are consistently a great live act regardless of the size of the crowd or the changing lineup of musicians. Definitely one of my all time favorite live acts. The new drummer was a great addition.
Harley Poe is hard to sum up. They’re a band that’s somehow better live than the fantastic albums they release, and also better than the last time you saw them live. Very few bands have music that absolutely does not judge you at all as a fan or as a person, but everyone who’s felt alienated and weird has a place with the characters and scenes that Harley Poe joyously and frenetically paints with copious amounts of gallows humor. Songs with self-congratulating killers and nihilistic, necrophilic sadists never felt so triumphant and affirming.
You may be biased in their favor if you paint your nails, really did wear your sister’s clothes when you were young, and or are a gorehound, hell bound horror movie lover or a werewolf.
PS. Joe’s art, which is all over their music and merch, is “gore-geous.”
PPS. Amigo the Devil was also brilliant and fits better on a bill with HP than any other act I’ve heard.
