El Corazon

I went to see overkill. The first band was good, Seattle band. I didn't get the bands name. The crowd, with patches filling their jackets, And band t-shirts fun.love to see that. I didn't know of Destruction tell this show. Wow there great! In the morning after the show. I listened to there recorded music. They are cooler then i expected. I'm a fan🤘 Overkill was great to see again. I seen them in 1990s in Flint Michigan. They played great all the way through. I loved the show!

It was a blast! Hadn’t seen them since marilyn manson picked them up. They played songs from Divine Infekt, Inri, Crown Thy Fornicator, and a few new songs. I love their music, i just think Nero should have more control over his costume design, and stage performance. He was on the path to something that really made him stand out visually. And what i saw looked like marilyn manson had branded him like his…eh hem, well you get the picture. Please please please! Let someone better take them on! For i doubt MM will ever learn how to let things grow on their own with minimal persuasion. I fukn love you Psyclon Nine!

The show was freaking awesome start to finish. Mourning Eve was excellent especially for their first ever tour. The energy and overall musicianship was great for such a young band. Oxymorrons, the energy and personality while literally getting everyone in the audience involved and moving. They set the stage for what was to come and if they are ever coming back to Seattle, I'm definitely seeing them again. Nevertel killed it and kept the energy going throughout the whole set. They really went in hard and the drummer hits so hard with the vocals being so freaking good. Sleep Theory was extremely excellent and throughout the show they were attentive to the audience because the venue was really hot and they were making sure those that needed water or help, moved to a safe spot. The performance basically always 1 1/2 hours long and made every bit of it and experience. I'm so glad to have this opportunity to see them because when they eventually blow up, seeing them in such an intimate venue will be very hard to come by. Definitely keeping an eye out for all these bands.

When I saw Cryptamnesia, I thought it was Infected Rain, but it turns out that 2 of the band members got their visas and the other 2 band members didn’t get their visas on time, so Infected Rain had made a decision that they would not perform for the first 5 shows. This was where Cryptamnesia took over for Infected Rain and my metal friend Nick was friends with Cryptamnesia and as soon as Saryn Greymoor came by after Gemini Syndrome, he decided to have a selfie with me. That was a great concert on my birthday.

It's been a long time since Mad Caddies has been to Seattle. They have been one of my favorite bands for over 20 years. I know there's been turnover with the bandmates and some people give black. But the newer band members do a great job and put on an amazing show. Crowd engagement was 150%. One of the best shows I've been to in a long time. Only downside is, I have teenagers now that love the music, and we've been trying to get them to a show, but there's too many that are 21 and over, including this one. So I will be driving 12 hours round trip to go to the Bend, OREGON show with the teenagers.

I loved watching Wednesday 13 perform Murderdolls. Gemini Syndrome along with Cryptamnesia filling in for Infected Rain was awesome! Best part was meeting Lena Scissorhands and Brian Steele Medina as well as meeting some really cool fans! The guy in the Gemini Syndrome liked me so much. One of my friends from El Corazon which was believed to be Mila aka @thrnhil on Instagram. She remembered who I was when I was head banging with her and her boyfriend. Then I was partying with a black a blonde hair girl and a girl with a Joey Jordison makeup which was really cool! That was the best birthday party I’ve ever had!

Absolutely love the band and their performance. They did great and I was so glad to see them as always. The venue however as they have for years over pack the show. It is simply not enough room for how many people are allowed in there. Just look at Google reviews and accounts on Reddit of people questioning the safety and fire code standards of this place. You are sardined, shoulder to shoulder, face to back with no clear path to an exit. The only area where one is able to walk around is the hallway to the bathrooms and the adjoining "Funhouse" bar. The actual bar within El corazon is at the far wall where you have to shimmy through a sea of humanity. If there is ever an emergency evacuation, people would get trampled or crushed. Throughout the show, I saw maybe 3 to 5 people that looked ill and near passing out and had to be walked out of the crowd due to apparent heat exhaustion. Ventilation has not been addressed in many years and it gets hot. There are no overhead ducts or air flow to speak of. The only fresh air seems to be near the open entry way and the adjoining bar. If this wasn't my all-time favorite band, I would have skipped a show at this place. A popular band with a devoted fan base filled this place to the brim even on a Monday night. The venue should seriously limit the entry and install some real ventilation. The photo speaks for itself.

My girlfriend and I went to your show at El Corazon in Seattle last night. Amazing show, my first time seeing you live, but I've been a huge fan of your music since around 2002. You guys sound great live, and put on an energetic show, we had a great time. Loved that you played your Heart Shaped Box cover, so appropriate in Seattle, and really cool that you spoke of Nirvana and the other grunge bands, checking out some of their history while you were in town, and mentioning them as an influence. Being in high school late 80s/early 90s, that music was my wheelhouse, and I think I can speak for almost everyone at that show, you guys giving them props like that means a lot. I also thought it was pretty cool that when we exited the club right after you guys wrapped up, there was Jesse and a couple of the other guys, standing right outside the front door by the tour bus. I'm not one to approach celebrities, musicians, etc, but I definitely appreciate that down to earth, man of the people vibe you guys put off. I think it's reflected in your music and your performance on stage. I don't think you guys get nearly the attention you should, but there's certainly a nice section of hard-core fans out there, and that was represented last night at the show. I feel like I know the lyrics to most of your songs, but seeing that entire room singing along almost word for word to just about every song...I imagine must be inspiring to you guys. You guys have been around a good while, and I feel you're still at the top of your game, maybe even getting better. Your new music is really good. I hope you'll continue to find inspiration and keep going for many, many years to come. Thanks for what you do!

After being a huge fan since Spotify recommended this group to me, I wasn't sure what to expect out of a live show - and I had SO much fun seeing them live. And they looked like they had so much fun being there! Everyone on stage was clearly enjoying themselves, everyone in the audience was having a great time, and they put on a phenomenal show. My husband remarked that they seemed like they were a world-famous band that had been performing for decades. They are so talented. Highly recommend seeing them even if you have never heard any of their music.

She and her band kicked a*s! About 4 years ago, she opened up for Diamante, three days grace, chevelle and breaking benjamin at the white river amphitheater in auburn but I got there late and missed her whole set, but I'm glad I got to see her in Seattle at a small venue, she has a classic rock vibe going for her, voice of Robert plant, stevie nicks and, Jefferson airplane, it was amazing, she seems like a really down to earth person that love performing and people! People went crazy for her, I understand why though it because she know how to play good rock music! Also they did a great cover of sweet dreams are made of these! If you haven't heard her new album gifts from the holy ghost, I definitely recommend it, it a banger all the way through!🤘🤘🤘

I just walked into the club after getting off work. For a winter night, the club was pack, body were flying and smashing into each in front of the stage, and the band had a big banner in the back with their band logo "Darkest Hour." I was a fan years ago. Listen to few songs here and there. Recently, technology has allowed me the convenience of hearing one of the tightest and technically sound Metalcore acts out there. I listen to one of their CD's at work. Great show. Seattle, Washington. I can see why bands like Nirvana, Soundgarden, Seaweed, Mudhoney, and TAD, etc. were such charismatic acts (legendary at that). This city is special, there's a lingering clairvoyance i wish to tap into....in do time!!! For now, keep catching kick a*s shows!

Third time in a row seeing Amorphis and they still do not disappoint! Show was awesome! Tomi’s vocals just seem to get better year after year. I don’t know how they do it but each album just seems to be better than the last one (except for Circle, which, just in my opinion, was ok but not spectacular) and Queen of Time is certainly no exception. Check out Angry Metal Guy’s review of the album. This album is amazing and everyone should be listening to this all the time! Even my wife, who normally doesn’t listen to Amorphis much, is actually enjoying this album. Oh, and Amongst Stars with Anneke Van Giersbergen was perfection. Amorphis should really consider making her a permanent member of the band! Yeah it should be pretty obvious that I am a big fan of Amorphis. I loved the show. I can’t wait to see them again. I am eagerly looking forward to a new album eventually. If you have the chance to see them, go! Well worth it in my humble opinion! 😁

Words cannot always say what music can, and Uli's playing sometimes is beyond words thus song "Sun in My Hand" is meant to do what words cannot always communicate. Thank you for being Who You Are, and for the band staying true to the music. Thank you also for playing your brother Zeno's song, "Dont Tell the Wind". I miss my brother as well, who also has been gone for a few years. He was also an artist, but his medium was exotic woods and fine boat building. I know that he would love to be here, and spend time with you as we did the other night , my wife and I again. Safe travels to you and your band, and I look forward to seeing you again Lord willing. BEST BAND EVER. I was ther solely for ix. (Actually left after they played) it was amazing. I've waited 3 years for them to come to a city near me and it was well worth the wait. My voice was hoarse for 3 days after seeing them and my neck was sore for banging my head so hard. They played all of the hits off of the silver scream as well as a bunch off of every trick in the book. The only thing I wish they had done was play some off of predator becomes the prey. Maybe connect the cuts, would have been lit. However, 10/10 love these guys so much wanna see them again so bad.

I love Curren$y! I was in the center maybe 3rd row, so close to touch him. One of my favorite rappers of all time. I literally cried right when he came on stage but I didn’t wanna f**k up my make-up but...... I fucked up my make up lol I was so happy to finally catch a concert of his. Seattle, we hotboxed that venue. It was the highest I’ve ever been, i didn’t even remember how i got my a*s home. Lol anyways, He is such a great performer and his energy is amazing. Congrats on the baby on the way! 😘

TOP TWO SONGS... Dinosaur Vacume/ Brainstorm • This was the MOST mesmerizing, 70’s-space, psychedelic Sounds & Lyrics that I EVER heard & seen LIVE! What A Riot! • Spine of God (w/ No Paradise For Me Lyric-Snipets) • This was My BEST FAVORITE song out of All Songs!! Out of all of the You Tube Videos that I watched on this bands’ live concerts, they know how to keep their old works fresh, so that the Lyrics can Stay ALIVE! • Out of all of the rock concerts that I have been for this year, MONSTER MAGNET STOLE the Show!!!

KILLING JOKE was beyond amazing last night. This was my first time EVER seeing them although I've been a fan of the band for over 30 years! If you want to know one of the legendary bands who bridged the gulf between industrial music, punk, and metal, look no further to KILLING JOKE! In their illustrious 40 year (and counting) career, KILLING JOKE warned us regarding the current political climate that was going to come. Like the "passive zombies" that you are, YOU dismissed them. Yet, here we are 2018, divided more than ever! I NEVER doubted their words then and now! These are some pics from last night's brilliant performance! Thank you KILLING JOKE for showing an awkward, gay black kid back in the 1980's for giving me to confidence to be myself, that my opinions matters, and continue fighting against the zeitgeists!
