Celebrity Theatre is one of Phoenix’s most unique historic landmarks. For 60 years, the historic venue has provided patrons with the ultimate in entertainment viewing featuring an extremely rare revolving stage and no seat is more than 70 feet away from your favorite artist!
I saw KWS on his first tour and thought he was great then. He has become even better. His snd his band are on sync and amazing to watch. It was also good to see his beautiful wife and lovely children there as well.
My wife and brother had not seen Kenny and his band live before and they were mesmerized by his incredible guitar skills. Such a great talent
Awesome show! Venue was great and audience was very enthusiastic which appeared to feed Justin and the band. Never have seen him so relaxed. His voice was excellent and the set songs just flowed one after the other. He stuck around at the end to enjoy his standing ovation and even shook audience member's hands on the way back down the "runway" from the stage. Usually, he just walks off with the rest of his bandmates. Seemed to be much appreciated by everyone. Best concert of the 7 of his that I have seen to date!
I did attend the Justin Hayward concert last night (April 8th). I had not been to the Celebrity Theatre in several years. Everyone who worked there was so nice! They went out of their way to serve you. It was nice to be with hundreds of other Moody Blues' fans in "my vintage," as Justin Hayward calls it, people who know and love this music. Every live concert is a unique experience between the performers and the audience. Last night was no exception. Since he is the last remaining member of the group, there may not be too many more opportunities to see him. I hope this music will never be lost, as the current generations need it badly.
Fantastic show! Our first time seeing Steve-or any Genesis members-solo or otherwise. I’m not very familiar with most of his solo material, but hearing the DEEP Genesis classics was very moving, and exhilarating!! Once in a lifetime experience. 🙏🏻
Last year, Steve was here to do a show, and with the audience already in the venue, he had a reaction to some prescribed medication and had to be whisked away to the emergency room! I didn’t have tickets to that show, but was regretting it until I heard the show was cancelled. I’m very thankful that we had another chance at seeing Steve and his incredible, amazing band!
Well the single downside was the miscommunication regarding seating, was unaware that the stage would not be rotating resulting in my not able to see the headliner, Jason Bonham playing his drum sets.
The disappointment was quickly eclipsed by the visions of Led Zeppelin as the band progressed song after song, with Jason's Personal stories of his father and the band and the influence they were on his life..almost like BONZO is reincarnated through his son.
Congratulations Jason on the birth of Your first grandchild.
Though I never had the pleasure and enjoyment of seeing the Zeppelin in concert, (had ticket to L.A. show when Bonzo left us), last night's show was a Wonderful Substitute.
To the Band,.many thanks, and God Bless you all as you continue to your, hopefully you guys will return for another in the near future..
Life long and grateful fan,
Steven M. Elliott
The show and the venue were awesome! It was the first Amy Grant concert I ever attended live and I've been to hundreds of other artists' concerts and I dare to say that this one was extraordinary. The stage rotated like a carousel which means from every seat you had a good sight, giving you kind of a circus feeling. Amy was in a good mood and so was the band. I traveled to Phoenix (and to Tucson the next day) all the way from Germany to see Amy live and it was definitely worth the trip. (Also the Pina Colada mocktail was great by the way).
Amy GRANT can sing !!! She is a great entertainer. Her band was great and were professional. The venue was fantastic. It's a theater in the round and the stage rotates. Her crew was great and constantly were busy with tuning her guitars . One of the best concerts I have seen in a while
Thank you
Larry Jaros
I took my granddaughter and we really enjoyed the show. We went for the meet and greet, Orianthi was great and signed a few items for us. Talked to her about another show that I was at i California which she recalled and what she played with Vanessa. Ori encouraged my granddaughter to continue to play guitar, which she does. I think that the venue, with a revolving stage, is probably better suited for plays.
OMG the concert was great!!! The ppl helping you get to ur seating wr so gracious!!! I walk with a cane & I had to climb alot of stairs to get to my seat. Well the seating person put me in lower empty seat in my section!!! I thought that was so thoughtful!!! Also I came a little earlier to make sure I'd get to my seat b4 the crowd came. Standing outside 1 of ppl that checks in tickets got me a chair to sit down outside until the doors open!!! The ppl or company you use are great & caring ppl!!! Kudos to the ppl that work @ the celebrity Theater!!! 🎊🎊👍
First of all, OH MY GOSH! That was the best comedy show I have been to through in a long time so THANK YOU! Second, Nick Swardson said thank you to me and my row that started a chant for him. Sorry, but not sorry. He’s one of my favorite actors and characters in Adam Sandler movies and or others. Also, he dropped 3 impressions on the crowd that was pretty darn good. Also, last but not least he let us in on some interesting upcoming projects he’s working on and or doing himself! This was so much fun and just decent seats and price and man I had a blast and so did my friend… I wish he had merch that was the only downside to it all. Other then that I’d love to see him again and I thank you so very much VetTix for making this possible for me and approving my request and what not. I hope to see him again soon.
I had a blast at Ralph's show. He was so funny. He had alot of openers that i wish he would have like cut down to like 2 or 3 than him headliner But they were pretty funny I likes Jordan J and one other one I forgot the name but He scored major points with me as a true professional comedian when people yelled about the George Lopez beef he gave hm props and did not bad mouth him so for that he earned so much respect from me.
IT WAS AWESOME! The venue is very nice, definitely want to go to this venue more. The actual concert was spectacular, I’m pretty sure this is their last tour (I hope not) would love to see them again!! I’m glad I got to see them 🫶🏼 The crowd was fun, they picked nothing but amazing songs to play. :)
And the merch was sickkkk, got two shirts and a magnetic 🖤
Another INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE by The Black Moods! These guys are destined for superstardom, as they are amazing songwriters, and put on one of the best live shows I've ever seen, and I've been going to concerts since 1984!
Super catchy songs with hooks and melodies you can't get out of your head, and that's a great thing!
A big missing element these days with modern music is the songwriting, and Josh, Jordan and Chico write like the great songwriters I grew up with in the '70's.
And the fact that they are super humble, down to earth genuinely nice guys makes everything they do that much better.
Make sure to catch them at their next show, I promise you that you will not be disappointed and become a loyal Moodster just like me.
One of the best shows I have seen in a while! Amazing performance. Graham's shows are so intimate, from the story telling to the music. His voice is still amazing! And the stories behind the songs and where they came from is absolutely precious. I always learn something new when ever I see him. The whole audience seemed to be on the same wave length. Nothing but JOY and HAPPINESS! This show made me feel GOOD! Not just fantastic, but GOOD! That's a nice place to be. This show was well worth the wait. What a WONDERFUL MAN! And STUPID GOOD MUSIC!!!
MAN! WHAT A NIGHT!!!
I just moved to Phoenix from Nashville and I can say that the Celebrity Theater is as good or better than any venue in Nashville! Every seat in the house is within 30 rows of the stage, all the way down to the free and abundant parking on site, drink prices, etc.
The show was excellent, Colin Hay who I've seen many times was as good as ever and got the loudest applause from the crowd. The rest of the band delivered exactly what you would expect, excellence!
My daughters, girlfriend and I all thought Paul was amazing! He put on a great show and demonstrated why he’s had such a successful career for over 60 years! I love celebrity theater but was disappointed in their ability to show the screens more visibly and the sound was too low. We missed most of that section of his performance. Also the chairs in section B were too close together. I’m short and no leg room! But Paul made it all worthwhile!
Was a good show but couldn't hear the keyboards most of the time and the drums were overpowering at least in the lower circle. A announcement was made to put away your cell phones, no video or pictures allowed. Al Stewart is always great but I wish he would have had the whole band, his guitar player Josh was a highlight and has really improved in the last few years.
Jeff Beck is a living legend and proved it by his mastery of the guitar! In addition he has assembled a star list of players with massive amounts of flair , charm and talent!!! Johnny Depp was amazing and gracious with the audience, and very welcoming to and humbled by the near constant adulation. It was a dream come true to see those two and the full band in action!!!
I came to see Rick because I know he puts on a high energy concert that it is hard to beat. I am just a little bit of Rick fangirl. LOL. I was not expecting John Waite and Men At Work to match that energy, but they did. John Waite had everyone singing along with his songs and even sang Zeppelin. He told the story of how he wrote Bluebird Cafe, which made the song that much more enjoyable. Men At Work were incredible. I was truly impressed by Scheila Gonzalez, who I watched play flute, keyboard and saxophone. Then there was Rick. He spoke candidly about this depression and the crowd was on their feet singing with him for most of the set. He came into the audience for Human Touch, encouraged us to sing with him on Don't Talk To Strangers...and we even sang him a belated "Happy Birthday." Truly an incredible night with so many talented musicians in one place.
I've seen every Little FEAT concert to come to Arizona for the past 30+ years and I'll have to say this one didn't disappoint. I miss Paul Barrier and Richie Hayward but Scott Sharard would have made Paul and Lowell proud. His slide guitar licks are spot on and excellent. While he didn't have Lowell's deep voice that we all identify with some of his signature tunes, he did a great job.. There are still many cities on their Waiting for Columbus tour including Tucson on December 7th. You're missing out on an awesome show if you miss this tour.
