Biographie de The Beautiful View

The Beautiful View has a plan, and it's a good one. After releasing an all-rock "Life As Beautiful" album to a very indie world, the band has stood its ground and seems to find itself in good company in San Diego's burgeoning alternative rock scene. Maintaining its original rock and roll antics, the references to 80s, 90s and post-modern rock, the band has also recently pushed itself to hone in on the essence of what moves good solid rock in a pop-world. Subtle homages to bands such as the Cure, Failure, Soda Stereo and the Cars unite with the genre that bred bands like Muse, the Killers and the Foo Fighters. The band of best friends is Aaron J. Magnan, vocals and guitar; Adrian Cordero, guitars; Paul Rich, bass; and Duane Allan, drums. They promote a confidence in solid songwriting, musicianship par-excellence and a taste for rock and pop listening sensibilities. There is no stage too big for their sound, and their successful visit to South by Southwest and U.S. Tour in 2012 proved that. The first EP of a trilogy planned for this year sheds no tears in a compilation of stories and emotions that are just as imagined as they are real. From smoky cabarets just closing at dawn to nightime drives through deserts and towns, the big city, small town feel rolls in and out of each track. It was recorded at Phaser Control studios by Bill Driskill with input from Jason Manuel (The Palace Ballroom) and support from good friend Tim Fears (photographer). Keep watch for a series of 4-song EPs to be released later this year. Stay tuned for our upcoming EP, the first in a series set for this year!
