Biographie de Christopher Brown

Christopher Brown is a singer/songwriter from Springhill/Nova Scotia. "Ahhh, Anne Murrays home town eh'?, is what he usually hears. Also, Brown being his actually last name , he always had to address the "large elephant" and nervously laugh during interviews of any kind, "Chris Brown eh...blah blah blah". After being told that using his high school nickname "The Brown", wouldn't work commercialy and using his real name wouldn't work for obvious reasons, he started using his middle name " James". And while "Chris James" didn't like that, Im now going with "Christopher Brown" While going through these growing pains during his first solo release 'Found in the Woulds", he had success with his song "The Record Collection". The song earned him the Grand prize winner during Canadian Music Week 2013 for the 'Radiostar National Talent Search" contest. The song also was a finalist in the 2013 UK Songwriting Contest. As a result he was invited to attend the "Gordie Sampson Songcamp" for the past two summers. While attending he has co-written songs with many Nova Scotian artists, including Mo kenny, Carleton Stone, Steven Macdougall of Slowcoaster as well as Grammy award winning artist Gordie Sampson.
