Come out and enjoy your favorite soul/pop/funk tunes from yesterday and today!BJ Griffin and Jason Brown studied classical music at James Madison University. Being from the same area, after their time in school they started playing music together outside of the classical realm. Watching the duo onstage is a show in itself. With a musical chemistry that is undeniable and an unpredictability that will keep you on the edge of your seats, BJ and JB bring a fresh take on well known songs with every show. With their genre bending style, they can play anything from The Saint-Saens to Stevie Wonder. Biographie de BJ Griffin and the Galaxy Groove
Bj formed a band in 2013 called Bj Griffin and the Galaxy Groove. He also teamed up with long time friend and pianist Jason Brown creating the Bj Griffin Duo. Bj has a full performance schedule filled with gigs throughout Hampton Roads and abroad. You can catch more gigs by keeping up with his tour dates on his website:

Bj has been featured in the Virginia Pilot, Coastal Virginia Magazine and other media outlets including several local television stations. In addition to his active performance schedule, Bj is the owner and founder of the music school Galaxy Music in Virginia Beach, Va.
As a performer, Bj lives to expand the boundaries of musicians of all genres to a broader audience and conjure even more possibilities to spread the joy of learning and performing music.
