Biographie de Damian Casey-Boyce
Damian Casey-Boyce is a Singer/Songwriter and full time Musician. Born and raised in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E to Scottish and Irish parents, he started playing the piano at 8 and is a self taught guitarist.
He performed at piano recitals and in a jazz ensemble on the alto saxophone in his early teens and joined his first band as a bassist at 16.
He moved to Scotland at 18 to complete his schooling and then studied Biology at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. He first began performing open mics and solo gigs during University. After Uni he travelled to Thailand to learn, study and teach PADI Scuba Diving where he also performed at numerous venues.
After Thailand he moved to Australia and formed the band 'Hammer and the Goon' with fellow travellers and musicians from the UK in Coffs Harbour NSW, in 2013. They toured successfully up and down the east coast of Australia for 2 years. This band continued upon their return to the U.K. but in 2015 disbanded.
He has been playing solo and with his current band @Sixteen12 for the last few years, living and working in Edinburgh playing a range of styles from Reggae and Blues to Pop and Soul with both covers and originals in a large and varied set list.
They have recently released their first single "Welcome Ever Smiles" (available on iTunes and Spotify etc.) and they're releasing the first full EP later in September 2017.
