The Role Models

The Role Models play the songs just on the edge of your mind that you couldn't get out of your head back in the day. We love to be people's favorite "Oh yeahhhh...that song!" band. From our beginnings at a cul-de-sac graduation party in 2007 we’ve been inspired by a wide range of music from Eric Clapton, the Beatles, Motown, R&B, Blues, the Rolling Stones, Santana, Bon Jovi, classic dance hits, the Allman Brothers Band and more. We can tailor our song list to make your party a success, and most of all, we want to share our love of music by playing the songs that we can't get out of our heads.

The Role models are four guys with day jobs: A small business owner, an ordained Episcopal priest, a high school teacher, and a surgeon: Tim Long (guitar, vocals, bass, drums), Phil Rountree (bass, vocals, guitar, keyboard, accordion), Scott MacLeod (guitar, bass, vocals, harmonica), and Ramon Berguer (drums, vocals, guitar, bass, sound/recording). We’ve played in Marin, Sonoma, Solano, Contra Costa, and LA Counties, along with guest vocalists and guitarists from the Marin County area.
