Marni Green and Jeremy Monteleone, formerly of Boondoggle combined with homegrown beat savant, Cassie Eacker, to form American rock original, Band Idiot.

Beautiful vocals and intelligent lyrics coupled with snappy, pop-punk, Americana-infused rock and roll, Band Idiot's sound is hauntingly familiar yet difficult to define. Marni's songs are inspired by the ironies and contradictions inherent in modern life and some of her experiences recovering from a series of most unfortunate injuries. Despite the dark tone of some material, there's enough good humor and booty shaking beats to ensure general enjoyment. As veterans of live music, Marni and Jeremy's experienced show-person-ship ensures that crowds often leave exhausted but smiling that special grin which only comes from a new tune in an old heart.

Along with their large repertoire of original music, Band Idiot joyously interjects numerous feel-good cover songs into their sets ranging from favorites like Tom Petty's, "Your So Bad", and Violent Femmes' "Blister in the Sun" to classics like Patsy Cline's "Walking After Midnight."
