Biographie de Chaosophy

Chaosophy is a black metal band that was founded in 2012 by Steven Moser. In the following year, Joe Dunn joined the band on bass, followed by Bob Kendall on guitar, solidifying the lineup and bringing their unique talents to the mix. The final piece of the puzzle fell into place in late 2015 when Cernunnos joined the band on drums, adding a powerful and dynamic element to their music.

In 2018, the band achieved a significant milestone with the release of their highly acclaimed “Split” album, a collaborative effort with the band Terranaut. This release showcased their ability to seamlessly merge their distinct styles, resulting in a musical work that left a lasting impact on the scene. Following the release of the “Split” album, the band entered a partial hiatus as Cernunnos pursued a PhD in theoretical physics. During this time, they focused their efforts on crafting their upcoming full-length album, “Aathiel.” This period of introspection and growth allowed them to delve deeper into their musical exploration, pushing the boundaries of their sound and creating a highly anticipated release.

With their unwavering dedication to their art and their commitment to pushing the boundaries of black metal, Chaosophy has established themselves as a respected and influential force within the genre. Their upcoming album, “Aathiel,” promises to be a testament to their growth and evolution as musicians, entrancing listeners with its dark and atmospheric compositions.
