The concert was held in the Arts Centre in Salisbury. A disused church has become a lovely setting for daytime gigs. Lucy is from the north west & now lives & works as a musician in London. Lucy played two sets of mostly originals, bout also played two covers. Many of her songs are about loss in love & were beautifully played by Lucy & her acoustic guitar, she calls Millie. When Lucy was on stage she told a story about each song & made the audience feel like they were guests in her own living room

Biographie de Lucy Zirins
Award winning London based singer-songwriter Lucy Zirins hails from the small town of Burnley, Lancashire. Gigging regularly at 16, and with visits to Italy and France under her belt by the time she was 18 years old, Lucy picked up the guitar aged 12 after inheriting one from her late Uncle and began songwriting early on.
At just 18, PRS for Music chose Lucy as one of their "Class of 2010" for her promise as a young UK songwriter. Since then, her creativity, hard work and ethos towards songwriting has led her to gig extensively, write, release and tour critically acclaimed album 'Chasing Clocks' & EP 'What's in Front of Me', (both of which received airplay on major UK stations BBC Radio 2 & 6), and complete a three-year degree in Songwriting at London based institute BIMM; graduating with First Class Honours. She is a past British Blues Award winner and UK Country Radio Finalist for their Listener's Songwriter Club Award. R2 Magazine said: "Still in her early twenties, if she can continue to write songs of this calibre, Lucy Zirins will become a major player".
She most recently released a live album 'Live at the Old Courts' featuring long time band member and friend Andy Crowdy on double bass. Roots authority FATEA magazine recommended it, saying Lucy's 'singing is wonderfully crystal clear and the guitar playing precise'. Her rise looks set to continue as Lucy's finishes her latest studio album in 2018.
