Split Sphere

Moka and I (Prevail) cordially invite you to join us at the first ever Split Sphere Birthday Brunch! Come help us celebrate both of our birthdays, hang out and have some laughs, check out some new Split Sphere merch we will have available, and also get an exclusive experience that you’ll have to come see us in person to find out what it is. This FREE WITH RSVP public event is happening on Saturday, November 7th from noon until 2pm at one of my favourite haunts in Vancouver, the Regal Beagle Bar & Grill (at 2283 West Broadway in Kitsilano). Half the venue is a restaurant, so this is an all ages experience that you can bring your crew and your family too if you’d like. You’re responsible for paying for your own food & drinks should you choose to partake; rest assured, this will be well worth it to attend. We look forward to seeing you there! The pair performed live as Split Sphere before co-founding Swollen Members, which resulted in Platinum certifications and legions of fans across the world. In spite of their multi-decade history and substantial success as part of Swollen, as solo artists, and with other projects, Prev and Moka first started recording Split Sphere music for release in Spring 2026. The initial Split Sphere songs are in the process of being unveiled, and they are consistently releasing videos on social media to build momentum for their new project. Split Sphere’s musical output is lyricism-forward hip hop that in some instances leans into mellow golden era-reminiscent “classic rap”, and at other times it evokes the darker poetic alternative boom bap that helped them sell hundreds of thousands of copies of their past albums. Split Sphere songs are likely to resonate with fans of the Hieroglyphics, De La Soul, the Pharcyde, A Tribe Called Quest, Freestyle Fellowship, and of course listeners of Swollen Members as well as P and Moke’s other projects. Seasoned veterans with over 35 years of live performance experience headlining shows in dozens of countries, Split Sphere have played multiple festivals and supported Choclair on a Western Canadian tour this year. They will be rocking many more stages, leading up to the release of their debut project as a duo - decades in the making!
