Biographie de l'artiste
"Pure noise rock heaven, if such a thing exists." - Decibel Magazine, 2026
Out of anxiety, out of frustration, out of time, Yammer Jaw is screaming at the highest wall. Feeding off the division, oppression, and apathy of the modern world, this Nashville quartet brings intense, heavy, abrasive rhythms that keep your toes tapping subconsciously.
With the demise of pre-pandemic projects Ryoki Center, Watcher, and Sheep Shifter, post-pandemic impatience would find Chris Clark (vocals, guitar), Stephen Small (vocals, guitar), Ian Sundstrom (vocals, bass), and Richie Townsend (drums) making music against the backdrop of the internet delivering the worst information of human behavior. A heavy dose of post-hardcore and a nod to metalcore, the sound is complete with driving rhythms and caustic vocals.
