The City of Bell Gardens is hosting its annual Concert and Skate Jam on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 6-9pm at its skate park located at 6635 Florence Pl., Bell Gardens, CA 90201.
This outdoor event is free & open to the entire community. It features free food and raffles for youth (while supplies last), open skateboarding for all ages, vendors, and live music performances. The event is geared towards families, supporting the art of music and the sport of skateboarding.

Born from the intersection of Threshold and Ascend, Threshend is a heavy groove metal band out of Southern California. Their passionate, riff-driven music is designed to help listeners conquer inner darkness and break through to their happy place.
The band was founded by 12-year-old guitar prodigy and Gibson Artist, Russell Watson, alongside 25-year-old drummer Triko Chavez, widely recognized for his powerhouse drumming style with OTTTO, Feed the Beast, and 12 Gauge Trixie. For their live debut, they will be joined on stage by the talented 19-year-old multi-instrumentalist Gavin Lee on bass.
Musically, Threshend delivers hard-hitting groove metal deeply rooted in the heavy-handed mastery of the metal legends who inspire them. They seamlessly blend the foundational, doom-soaked weight of Black Sabbath and the aggressive precision of Lamb of God with the infectious, Blues-based swagger of Pantera and Black Label Society.
