Artist bio
Take That are a boy band that originated in Manchester, England in 1990 consisting of Gary Barlow, Robbie Williams, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald. Between the band's first single release ("Do What U Like/Promises") in 1991 and their cataclysmic breakup in 1996 when Robbie Williams left the band to pursue a solo career in 1995, the BBC described Take That as "the most successful British band since the Beatles, beloved of young and old alike."
Take That's dance-pop tunes and soulful ballads dominated the British charts in the first half of the 1990s, spawning two of the best selling albums of the decade with 'Everything Changes' (1993) and 'Take That: Greatest Hits' (1996) and according to the AMG Music Guides, "at this time were giant superstars in Europe with the main question about them not being about whether they could get a hit single, but how many and which would make it to number one".
The band reformed with the exception of Robbie Williams in 2006 and released their first new single in 10 years: "Patience". Following the success of Patience they released the album "Beautiful World" which topped sales in 2006 & sold more then the current release by Robbie!
During 2007 Take That also wrote a song for the motion picure Stardust titled Rule the World which reached number 2 in the UK charts and went on to be the 5th biggest selling single of 2007. Meanwhile Beautiful World the album was the fourth biggest selling album of 2007.

The show was fantastic. Still buzzing from it after a few days. Take That have always put on a great show and also at a reasonable cost. Having two well known support acts was also a huge bonus, and starting at 6.30 so that there was a full program. I really enjoyed watching The Script, who were great. Although it was a really hot night, everyone around me was having an amazing time. Other friends I've spoken to who went on different nights have all said what a fabulous time they had and can't stop talking about it! I'm looking forward to seeing some friends later so I can tell them all about it and bore them to tears!
I'd like to add, that allowing people to bring in reusable water bottles was really helpful. I was also very impressed with the food truck we went to, The Greek. The staff were so efficient and very polite, especially working under very difficult conditions, long queues and extreme heat. Other than attending the 2012 Olympics and West Ham games, it was the first time I had been to a concert at the London Stadium and though It was a great venue for a concert. I'll certainly attend another there.
I would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved in putting on the show and all the people working at the stadium. Of course the biggest thank you goes to Take That for continuing to entertain and put on such a fantastic show.
