AFTER SQUALL is a Japanese rock band formed in Nagoya in 2019 by vocalist and guitarist Miyu Taiyo and guitarist Seiya, with bassist and backing vocalist Aoba joining in 2024. The band has been based in Tokyo since 2025.
Their sound is rooted in emo and rock, enhanced by intricate and dynamic melody work. They express their unique style, influenced by diverse musical roots, by seamlessly blending Japanese and English, making a bold impact on the contemporary rock scene.
