OBSCURA // Guitar Summit 2026 – Masterclass w/ Steffen Kummerer
We are pleased to announce that Steffen Kummerer will appear at Guitar Summit 2026 in Mannheim, Germany, presenting an exclusive OBSCURA Masterclass.
As founder, guitarist, vocalist, and principal songwriter of OBSCURA, Steffen will provide an in-depth look into the creative and technical foundations of the band's music. The session will feature selected compositions spanning the entire OBSCURA catalogue, accompanied by detailed insights into songwriting, recording, touring, technique development, precision, endurance, and performance.
Attendees will also get a closer look at Steffen's current live and studio setups, including custom-built ESP Guitars, the OBSCURA Signature ENGL amplifier, and the equipment used throughout the ongoing A Sonication World Tour.

It was absolutely breathtaking to see these guys play live. They are as great of showmen as they are musicians, and the way they balance intent and spontaneity during their performances make no two moments feel the same. Even for long time fans, seeing them in person is sure to give one new perspectives on old songs.
