Artist bio
Paul is a performing songwriter and producer whose fans have compared him to Ray Davies. His 1980’s debut EP Dancin’ Room was greeted by critical raves and airplay on major East Coast rock stations. Decades later, after a long hiatus from personal projects, he released Chasing the Moon, 3 in 1: the collection, and the singles “Light @the EOL” (“Light at the End of the Line”), "Why Wait 'Til Christmas" and Money Doesn't Matter Anymore." Paul was voted National Songwriter of the Year by fans and attendees of The Annapolis Songwriters Festival in 2023. He has also contributed his lofty vocal harmonies, solid bass work and high-energy stage presence to nationally known artists:

The Bacon Brothers

“My brother and I are starting a band. And you’re the bass player.” A phone call from Michael Bacon began Paul’s on-going performing and recording relationship with the composer-songwriter and his brother, the actor-musician Kevin Bacon. Concerts include tours of Japan and Europe and an ongoing schedule of shows around the U.S. TV and radio appearances include The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and with Jay Leno, The Today Show, The View, Prairie Home Companion, The Howard Stern Show, and others.

Tom Rush

“Paul, thanks for trying to keep me on track, musically, at least, for all these years.” Concerts included tours with this legendary folk artist during his 1980’s renaissance. Major highlights: Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and annual holiday shows at Boston’s Symphony Hall featuring guest artists such as Joan Baez and Bonnie Raitt, for whom Paul often served as hoc musical director. A 2013 return to Symphony Hall celebrated Tom’s 50th year of music making. TV and video appearances include Tom Rush at Symphony Hall – A New Year, 1983 (PBS); Tom Rush: No Regrets (documentary); CBS This Morning; and others.
