Regina Spektor

Regina was awesome as always. The show was pretty no frills and no opening acts. Stared 40 minutes late for some reason, and just sat down at the piano and started her set. No dancing around or showmanship really, just a woman sitting at a piano and singing her heart out, and working through her repertoire one song right after the other without a lot of chit chat with the audience between. Exactly what you'd want from Regina. She did most of her biggest hit songs from across multiple albums and a couple I didn't recognize. Her usual quirkiness was a big feature of the show with some beatboxing, percussion on a chair with a drumstick, and a couple of acapella songs. I swear she was freestyling on one of them. She played guitar (probably a bass guitar) backing on one of her songs. I had no idea she played guitar, and honestly she was pretty amateurish at best on the guitar and should have skipped the song in the live show instead of attempting to play it on guitar.
