Kieran Thorpe

Kieran Thorpe is a singer-songwriter whose music is part of the tradition of singer-songwriters from the seventies to nowadays. Over the last ten years he has toured European stages with various bands: Firedog Empire, The Bottlenecks, as well as Sheffield-based folk rock band The Buffalo Skinners with whom he played at the Glastonbury Festival, the Cambridge Folk Festival and London's Dublin Castle. Now based in the French countryside, he recorded and published his first album as a leader, A Room With a View, at the start of summer 2021. A solo adventure for which he nevertheless surrounded himself with twelve musicians performing arrangements for strings, brass and vocal harmonies. The album is the result of a decade of travelling and music.
