Matt Stanyer

Matt Stanyer is a solo artist originally hailing from Taylor, British Columbia whose musical
journey kicked off in 2016 with a series of experiments to learn how to write and record his own
songs. Building on influences from Muse and Twenty One Pilots to Paramore and beyond with a
unique approach, Matt fuses elements of pop, classic rock, singer-songwriter acoustic ballads
and everything in between into a distinctly 90s-flavored take on alt rock — a perfect background
for his unique and dynamic vocals that are as electric, if not even more, on stage as in the
studio. Hot off the heels of his newest 5-track EP, Off The Ground, Matt’s momentum is now at
an all-time high as he prepares for his biggest year yet, with plans for a slew of live shows
already in the works, to be announced officially in due time, much to the delight of his diverse
and growing fanbase.
