Biographie de The Dirty Divine

The Dirty Divine are four dedicated musical maestros from sunny Brighton who have blended their hugely varied musical tastes and individual styles into a fabulous, genre-bending concoction which has left critics, promotors and audiences dazzled; "this band has a truly original sound and play with contagious energy. Live performances can only be described as 'mesmerizing'!" Review from The Blind Tiger Club, Brighton Helen Durden and Tim Boyce started writing together in 2012, they were joined by Tim's brother, Jamie Boyce on drums and long-time friend, Dan Paveley on bass, a rhythm section to be reckoned with! Their undeniable songwriting talent marries the expected and the unexpected in perfect harmony, spanning the stylistic pallet from swing to hip-hop; doo-wop to cinematic western; baroque to electronica; indie pop to avant-guard, this band is truly unique and needs to be heard to be realised. In just a few months of gigging they established themselves as a headliner in Brighton's top venues and a main stage act at festivals all over the U.K. Now, set to release their debut self-titled E.P, they finally have something to shout about, look out for their first single, 'Plastic Cups', released in November with a tour to follow. "Songwriters Tim (vocals and keyboards) and Helen (vocals and guitar) have developed a show full of finely crafted beats and epic arrangements."
