Biographie de Tanner Burch
Tanner Burch is an overnight songwriter that grew up in South Georgia. He was a former All-American college football player at Gardner Webb that was in pursuit of an NFL dream. During his tryouts however, he blew his knee out, therefore changing the path of his life.
While living in Nashville, he was searching for something to fill a void in his life while pursuing sales in the corporate world. During this same time Tanner’s grandmother passed away and his mother gave him his grandmother’s beloved guitar that she wrote and sang with for years. The aged, but pristine 1985 Ibanez, guitar was the catalyst that heightened Tanner’s interest to start songwriting. He taught himself to play the guitar in 2 months and wrote his first 2 songs within 3 months.
With an Outlaw Country sound, heavy influences from George Jones, Waylon Jennings, Tyler Childers and Cody Jinks, Tanner writes about his past and present life struggles, failures, love life and a deep look into the mind of a blue collared worker. Currently, he has written over 20 songs with many more to come. Tanner wants to give you the full story telling experience of what it means to be human with a southern, western sound through his vulnerable and honest songwriting.
