Biographie de Jenna LaMaster

Jenna LaMaster was on her way to making a name for herself on the professional rodeo circuit when she decided to pursue her other passion of country music. Originally from the mountains of Northern California, the barrel-racing songbird honed her craft in cowboy church, where she sang and played guitar. The decision to trade the rodeo for the radio came easy, as she realized her calling was to write lyrics that make people feel understood…which was why she fell in love with country music in the first place.

First honing her craft as a songwriter, Jenna has written songs for artists including Ashland Craft, Kasey Tyndall with Dylan Marlow, Faren Rachels, and Jake Worthington. In late 2023, she made the pivotal move from behind the scenes to the spotlight with her debut single, “Drunk Thoughts” – a vulnerable story of heartbreak written with Whitney Duncan and Lee Star and produced by the legendary Paul Franklin and Grammy-winning Glenn Worf.

For her next single, “Truth Is,” Jenna shines a timely light on the dichotomy of a world that might be in shambles but has steadfast virtues. “Fear can be a powerful motivator if you let it be,” Jenna reflects. “But you know what else can be too? Peace, resilience, and the hope that the good guy still wins at the end of the story. That’s where this song came from,” Jenna reflects of the track, which reunites her with Duncan, Star, Worf and Franklin.
