Biographie de The Screwups
The Screwups is a punk band from the Norwegian raw northwest Jugend city, Ålesund.
The band plays ruff and edgy punk rock that ranges from pop-punk on one end, to more heavy stuff approaching grunge on the other end. Created and recorded in the bassist’s boathouse of all things.
The lyrics are mostly of our own experiences and feelings which some people might relate to. Often with a touch of (sometimes dark?) humor. Other times the lyrics takes us to weird and twisted places or stories we’ve only heard of.
The Screwups released their first single, "Time To Fly" in June 2023, and followed that up with two EP's and a second single during 2023.
Dagsavisen, a major Oslo magasin, gave "Crash and Burn EP" 4 of 6 and a great review! Gappa Norge wrote the band had to have big cahoonas to dare release a EP four days short of Christmas. "This is compelling, straight-to-the-point and genuine punk (...) (that) deserves far more monthly listeners!
The Screwups will work in studio for upcoming releases in 2024 and 2025, and play gigs as they are booked.
