Violet Maynard Family

Violet Maynard is no stranger to gospel music. She began singing with her parents at the age of 3 in the hills of eastern Kentucky. Since then she has shared her instrumental and vocal talents while traveling with several gospel groups through the years.

In 2005, God directed her into a solo ministry. Although this was unfamiliar territory, Violet, along with her husband Will, embraced God's directive and began on a new journey. In all things God has a purpose and plan for our lives. God also had a plan for this ministry. And, what began as a solo ministry, is now a family ministry known as Violet Maynard Family.

Violet and her son Joshua play several instruments for the group to include piano, bass guitar, acoustic guitar and electric guitar. They also share songwriting and vocal responsibilities. Finally, Violet's husband, Will, serves the group as sound technician and driver.

This family offers a blend of inspirational, traditional, southern and country gospel music. They have been honored with several fan-voted award nominations. As they are traveling the United States, they are touching lives and sharing the gospel message of faith, hope and love.
