Hervé Amiot

Hervé Amiot is a guitarist, composer and singer from the Franche-Comté region of France. When he was a young teen starting to strum the guitar strings, YouTube was still in its infancy. During one of his searches, he came across a video and marveled at the genius of the man who would soon become his great inspiration: Tommy Emmanuel. During the next twenty years of guitar playing, Hervé perfected the art of fingerpicking, a distinctive solo instrumental style that focuses on playing everything at once: rhythm, bass, chords and melody.

After a few years on the road, during which he composed ferociously, Hervé Amiot is back on stage with the release of his first instrumental EP, "One Last Thing Before I Go", an intimate concert in which Amiot's voice takes part in highly personal tributes to his favorite artists, including Norah Jones, Mark Knopfler and Sixto Rodriguez, alongside his own songs.
