The South Bend Chamber Singers, an ensemble-in-residence at Saint Mary's college will be performing their concert Crossing Borders - Songs of the Immigrant. This concert of choral works on the subject of Immigration will feature Melissa Dunphy's N-40 Erasure Songs and Henry Mollicone's Misa de los Immigrantes and works by Jennie Brandon, Stephen Paulus, and other. With Marelys Valencia, narrator and Elizabeth Schleicher, soprano.

Biographie de Jessica T. Carter
Jessica T. Carter is an American composer, violinist, mezzo-soprano, and educator from Indiana who is swiftly making a name for herself. Described as evocative (Aspire Magazine) and lyrical (Apricity Magazine), Jessica specializes in concert music, film scoring, and musical theatre. Jessica's aim and goal in music composition is to exude the message of hope to all but specifically to marginalized children. Jessica is the two-time scholarship recipient, a grand prize winner for her concert music, and holds four publications including that of ground-breaking research entitled "Concert Music of the Civil Rights Movement."
