Venue tbc - this will be an afternoon gig in Brighton Jess Vincent and Katie Whitehouse pair up to showcase their latest albums, Lions Den and Drawing Lines. The evening will be a fantastic mix of solo, song swaps, and accompanying each other. Jess Vincent is an an extraordinary young songwriter from Wiltshire with a unique and gorgeous voice has which has been compared to many, (Kate Bush, Iris Dement and Maria Muldaur) but is so distinctive that it could only be Jess Vincent. Utterly captivating live, she delivers her songs with subtle arrangements on guitar, baritone uke & harmonium and shruti box reveal a maturity that belies her youth, yet allows her vulnerability to shine through. Lions Den was recorded in her home studio in Bulgaria, where she moved to in 2017. The album brings with it a thread of the people, stories, colours, flavours and instruments from her new life there.
