Jeremiah Stokes’ rise amongst a strong crop of talented artist from the state of Indiana has been exciting to witness to say the least. He emerged to the forefront of Indianapolis’ music scene in 2017 with the release of now his most notable single “Corona.” The record was used as an introduction to someone who has quickly risen to the top of everyone’s list when it comes to his city’s respected rap scene. His style is laidback, yet eccentric and his content is full of wisdom. It never feels like he’s trying too hard or attempting to do too much. He’s always in his lane and in his own pocket.

In December, he released one of last years most slept on projects “The Harrowing”, which consist of 6 records that features some of the best flow shifts in recent memory and production that’s reminiscent of a Freddie Gibbs album. With no guest appearances , Stokes does a tremendous job of holding the weight of the project on his shoulders while providing us all with a wild, yet informative listening experience.
