COMING SOON to Whiterock Conservancy, a special event by Chad Elliott, Paint the Park!!! Mark your calendars for July 2nd and join us at Whiterock Conservancy for lunch with Thirsty Pigs food truck on site for this incredible event, fun for all ages to come out and enjoy! Paint the Park, with international award-winning songwriter and accomplished painter Chad Elliott, will feature a live concert and real-time painting inspired by Whiterock. “I’m a fan of Iowa’s landscape. It’s a part of me. I can’t wait to visit Iowa’s parks to create art inspired by them. It’s a small way for me to support Iowa’s natural spaces and I’m eager to get started.” – Chad Elliott Elliott will visit Whiterock Conservancy and be set up on the west lawn near the ponds at the Garst Historic Farmstead and create a painting and perform a live concert for all to enjoy. The public is encouraged to watch Elliott’s art process while he is painting. The BEST part? It's FREE!!
