Blue Cactus, Kym Register and Kamara Thomas trace their country-rock lineages, paying tribute to rock inventors Sister Rosetta Tharpe and Link Wray, and exploring the legacies of Linda Ronstadt and Rodriguez– two Mexican Americans whose music careers found very different trajectories in the rock milieu of the late 60s and 70s.

Biographie de Steven M. Anderson
Steve Anderson is a drummer living in Durham, NC. He grew up in upstate NY and moved to Durham, NC in 2011 after writing music in NY with his childhood friends (Fire When Ready, Summer People) for over 10 years. He currently plays with Kamara Thomas/Aquarian Devils, Charles Latham & The Borrowed Band, and Country Soul Songbook. As a session and performing musician for the last 20 years, Steve has shared the stage with acts like Circle Takes the Square, Don Caballero, Against Me!, Curl Up and Die, Portugal. The Man, Hiss Golden Messenger, Marathon, Marnie Stern, Algernon Cadwallader, Fear Before the March of Flames, and Third Eye Blind. He has recorded with Kamara Thomas, Aquarian Devils, Fire When Ready, Summer People, Bad Hand, Charles Latham, The Pinkerton Raid, David B. Dollar, Marcus Walton, and more.
